List of Susan Meram's Reviews
Don’t go here! Doctor is out of touch. She does not listen! It was billed as “specialist visit”. Please explain, specialist of what? No exam, nothing! Awful experience!
A few yes ago, I came to Dr. Meram 's office with a 3/4 in breast lump. She did not see me but sent a nurse, who referred me to Palomar Hospital Women's Clinic. The lead there refused to a mammogram until I could have a copy of my last mammogram 9 yrs prior in another state. Even after I got it, I was not given an appt. I later got an appt at a different hospital and learned it was a cyst. Dr. Meram was not personally in touch and did not coordinate appropriate care. I left Dr. Meram's care soon after.
I waited at least 20 minutes before someone took my call to schedule my first appointment. Thumbs down to Arch Health Partners! I was scheduled as the first appointment of the day to see Dr Meram who was almost 30 minutes late and did not apologize for it. My prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy on 2 occasions without me knowing until the wrong pharmacy contacted me 10 days later to let me know while I was not understanding why my pharmacy did not receive my prescription. I waited 2 weeks for my pap-smear results to return and then called the office to make sure that everything was good and the staff told me that their computer showed that Dr Meram's assistant had left a note that she had contacted me 10 days earlier and had shared the results with me. The assistant must have shared my results with someone else because I never received her call nor found a message from her. I contacted Dr Meram to inform her that I was not happy with the fact that her assistant claimed that she had release the results to me when she had not and her answer to me was " I have the best assistant in the world!" Clearly a messy office ran by a bunch of unruly people who do not have a care in the world about your health!
I called two days in a row, was put on hold for forever, tried pressing 1 to get a call back and never did... it was impossible to make an appointment, and so I'll be looking elsewhere for a primary care physician.
As mentioned below, she is a subpar Dr. She will pretend to listen to you. I had to go to her 3 times to get a referral to see a dermatologist. She requested to see me a fourth time until I said, "You can give me the referral or I will find a different Dr. and never see you again." Needless to say I got my referral. She is a money hungry person with little care for who she sees. Find someone else.
I just called Susan Meram's office for the first time telling her I was in a major accident and had severe headaches. Her office employee told me that I was not going to be seen for a month and a half and they were not willing to accommodate me as a new patient. They said just go to urgent care. I explained that this wasn't an emergency and the cost was too expensive for me however I also could not wait that long as it could be something serious. She could not have cared less. Any doctor who hires people like this is not someone I need to be around. F-
She's awesome! I only switched doctors because I moved too far to justify the drive for doctor's appointments. She actually listens to patients and doesn't have long wait times. However, the dealbreaker between driving far for a great doctor and risking it and switching to a closer hospital was over the front desk staff - they're horrible to deal with, hung up on me mid-sentence on the phone a few times, and hung up on me and straight up ignored me when I had to schedule an appointment with her after getting out of the ER. I called a few times and they didn't bother to take note or call me back until my mom called. I'm a completely independent 21 year old listening to what an ER doctor told me to do...my mom shouldn't have to call the doctor's office for them to not hang up on me. Wonderful doctor, horrible wait staff.
She is a subpar doctor who in my personal opinion doesn't listen to her patients. She will get the job done, but there are plenty of better doctors there.
; )
She took time to listen to me. She never made me feel rushed. Her office and staff were friendly. I felt comfortable with her and she was quick to follow up with me. Great Doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
