Great place nice doctor and staff
The lab is supposed to open at 1:30...it's 1:45 and they have taken only one pt. Too slow
I have been to this place couple of time. The doctor is amazing but the staff starting from reception to medical assistants are not professional. Twice, my doctor said she will put referral to a specialist and the staff never sent the referral out. I had to call them and followed up and the staff said they sent it. I had to call the specialist to see if they received the referral and they said the have not received anything from UC Davis. It's really not convenient to how they treat their patients. I am looking for another medical Center who cares about their patients.
Let me start by saying that Dr. Bryant is an excellent provider. I was previously stationed in Germany and received horrendous medical treatment resulting in an almost 11-hour plane ride home to seek help through physicians who could help me. Going in to see him, I was skeptical at first, seeing how I had gone to multiple providers who told me I was lying, that my pain was in my head, that I was a drug addict, and that I needed to speak with a psychiatric doctor. Not once did he ever call me a liar, tell me that I was crazy, or make me feel like I was going crazy - and trust me, a year of dealing with medical providers telling you it's all in your head makes you start questioning yourself. I started smoking again; my mental health wasn't doing very well, I pretty much felt hopeless. Now I can't speak for him, but I'd like to believe he could tell something was wrong. He gave me the pain meds I needed until I could see a specialist, told me it wasn't my fault that I started smoking again; it was a stressful situation. I think just hearing that from an actual doctor who didn't make me feel crazy gave me the mental ability to start quitting again. Although he ultimately didn't perform the procedure that fixed me, he gave me so much by just allowing me to come in and him listening. If more providers treated their patients with the kind, thoughtful, without judgemental remarks the way he has treated me, maybe more people would see their providers before their circumstance is escalated to the extreme like mine. Even though all my medical issues haven't been resolved, I have complete confidence that anything that happens, Dr. Bryant is on my side. On a side note, everyone through UCD has been spectacular. Whether that's through the office here or their main hospital. You never realize how much having someone on your side matters when you feel like your health is deteriorating and no one listens.
Lack of empathy and no care for patients. They only care about getting patients in and out and making profits. They don't care about your quality of life or how you feel. My doctor, Dr. Duru, said she couldn't help me and agreeded that self medicating is my only option or go to a new doctor. She didn't care of how I felt or that I said this was starting to cause depression from dealing with it. She said she was sorry she can't help me. This is the type of care you will get here.
Dr. Torres is wonderful! She's kind, compassionate, good sense of humor and very thorough. Staff is equally wonderful; professional, friendly and a very clean office. Highly recommend. 💯💯💯
Stay away! Totally uncaring toward patients! They all have very bad attitudes toward the patients.
I would like to thank Asia who helped me at the front desk. What a great customer service in addressing my referral issue. He was so professional, patient, attentive and calm.. and I was able to get my next appt with my OBGYN the same day. Thanks again!
Started going here with my 80 year old Dad. Blood bonds hehehe. They're excellent. They can hit a vein in a rotting banana.
Transitioned to UC Davis from Sutter since it is close to my work and they were able to pull all records and doctor notes and were able to run some blood tests and schedule a follow-up within a 2 week period.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
