If you are hesitant or scared of trying acupuncture don't be! I have been suffering from upper and lower back pain for so long now. And have been taking muscle relaxers for the pain that have made no difference. I couldn't sleep, sit, lean against anything comfortably for a while now. At work my pain was worse. So I decided to finally make an appointment. Fortunately, they take my insurance (IEHP) not many places do. He did a quick assessment and got to work. Not painful at all. I felt a difference that night! I hadn't slept that well in a while. I woke up so very grateful. I still feel some pain but from what it was I definitely notice a difference. Please do yourself a favor and make an appointment if you're like me. Health is wealth! I will continue to come to this doctor. Soooo happy with the results.

I suffer from immense pain in both hands due to Erosive Osteoarthritis. I've had excellent results from previous acupuncture therapy so I thought I'd give it a shot for my hands. The doctor said he couldn't help me, that acupuncture won't work for hand arthritis and DIDN'T EVEN TRY! As someone mentioned in another review, he complained about my insurance not paying him enough. This explains why he didn't want to take the time to help me. I was told after the fact, by my mother that she had a horrible experience as well, and could hardly walk after receiving acupuncture for her feet from this same doctor. Since then I have found an excellent doctor (Dr. Choi)who has helped me tremendously after just one session, she's patient and thorough. Note: I do not like writing bad reviews but am writing this one to possibly save someone else from having to go through a similar experience.

My back had been feeling sore for a while. Came to visit the Dr. he took great care of me. His staff is friendly and very professional. I would recommend this place if you had any issues. Dr will take care of you. He is very knowledgeable, professional, caring to your ailments and very personable.

Great acupuncture doctor. Dr. Yang is exceptional. I came here for neck and shoulder pain due to a work injury and I can definitely see better improvement on my pain tolerance and mobility. Awesome experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of trying this out before going the surgery route.

They are "full" for Kaiser patients. WTF?? Calling Kaiser to complain as I write.

I went here twice. Both times the guy who worked on me just complained about my insurance. Really ruined my experience. It really did help after the first visit but when he told me my insurance didn’t pay him enough to do my hands and my feet like he did at my second visit I was done hearing him complain. He’s not there to help his patients. He should not take Kaiser referrals if he’s just gonna yell at his patients. Very poor bedside manner.

I came here for lower back issues when I could barely walk. I have been to chiropractors before and coming here to Acupuncture Plus was the best decision I ever made. In no time my back felt great and was out walking. I look forward to my maintenance visits. Dr. Yang is great! I highly recommend him. I also enjoy the cupping too. The front desk receptionist is excellent. She will take great care of you.

Great service, love the results I get when I leave I feel so much better. Much better than a massage, longer lasting more effective.

Dr. Yang is one of the most compassionate and skilled doctors I've ever met! I came to see Dr. Yang once a month prior to my IVF frozen embryo transfer and happy to report that I am pregnant!! While doing research about acupuncture and IVF treatment I came across very greedy doctors who said to come see them several times a week for MONTHS before my transfer and that was highly inaccurate. Dr. Yang explained that a month prior and once a week would be sufficient and I couldn't be happier that I came across his office. The best part is that he does other things (cupping/massage) after the acupuncture for circulation and I truly felt like it helped with the success of my transfer. Also, front office manager Shirin is extremely professional and kind; overall, wonderful experience and I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Yang!
