I have been a patient of CVMG for over 15 years and drive from the High Desert to be seen here. Most of my experiences have been wonderful. The office is clean and most of the staff are warm and caring. There is usually a long wait to get through on the phone but it has improved in the last year or so. Appointments are not available as soon as I would like them to be, but that's to be expected with highly desirable care providers. If you see Dr. Ignacio, be warned, she will not address multiple issues in the same visit. I had one last concern to discuss with her and she told me we could talk about it at my next visit in SIX weeks and walked out of the exam room.

Dr Peter D it takes time with his patients. and is very caring, he never hesitate to give a referral when is needed. The clinic very clean and organized. I am very happy with this medical group.

I am a patient of record with Cucamonga Valley Medical Group of almost 6 years and have been taking the medication Wagovy. My insurance has already Authorized Wagovy with a contracted Specialty Pharmacy. On December 6th, I sent an e mail requesting a Wagovy refill Because the Specialty Pharmacy reached out to CVMG staff and did not receive the Prior Authorization. There seems to be a miscommunication with the Staff and Insurance regarding specialty refills for Specialty Medication. I sincerely apologize if there has been any miscommunication on my part and I am asking for help to clear this all up in hopes that it does not keep happening over and over again anymore. My 3 month refill should have started February 21st. Today is March 12th. The Specialty Pharmacy has contacted CVMG s medication department via - e mail on February 14, 19, 26 and 27th requesting Prior Authorization to refill the medication. On February 26 California Specialty Pharmacy called and spoke directly with Vanessa she informed them there is a 10 day turn around time. The 10 day turn around time has past. I am completely out of the medication again. The same thing happened in December 2024 Yesterday March 11, I called Cucamonga Valley Medical Group and spoke to a person in the medication department and asked her for help on getting the 3 month Wagovy medication refilled and asked her to submitt the Prior Authorization to my insurance company. She said I'm only allowed a once month refill and that she would contact the provider to requests the refill. Today I received a message and phone call for CVS Pharmacy that they have my Wagovy Rx Pending. However they can not fill it. It has to be submitted to the Health Insurance First by Prior Authorization and the Submitted to The Specialty Pharmacy not CVS I sent them another email asking for help.

I have been a patient at CVMG since I moved to the area in 2010. I have always received great care from every doctor, PA or NP that I have seen. However, since the pandemic, they seem to have outgrown their patient capacity but are still enrolling new patients. I called to schedule a physical today, was told the soonest available was three months out at the end of May. I tried to make a same day appt for my daughter when she wasn't feeling well and the soonest they could see her was the following month. Of course, a month later, she wasn't sick by that time. I have stuck around for the past few years hoping that with all the new facilities they are building, appointments would go back to being more reasonable, but, I have now given up hope and will search for a new doctor's office for my family to go to.
