Louis R. Mandris's Online Review Report Card

Very long, traumatic story short. I signed up for tummy tuck w/ muscle repair and Brest aug through armpit. He didn’t complete muscle repair in tummy tuck. My belly button is off center,crooked and left looking terrible. He was supposed to fill breasts up to 550cc’s, words out of his mouth at 1st post op,"I saw this perfect little body and it just needed the boobies to match, so we threw in 650’s." Louis R Mandris is a deceitful, dishonest, rude, vile person. His staff follows his lead lying straight to your face, telling you that you are just having unrealistic expectations of how recovery should be going. No. This ‘experienced’ Louis R Mandris just doesn’t care. He knows what needs to be done for the bodies standing in front of him but chooses not to and then when you stop just going along with what he and the staff are saying, he’ll turn around and blame you for choosing him. I wish I could show my ‘not great but still getting good results’ photos, his words not mine, which were also followed up with ‘yeah, sometimes we fail. But it’s not the end of the world. You can still get the breast lift.’ Check other websites like, Yelp, RealSelf.com, google, ratemds, thoroughly. Some websites do things like scrub/not recommend reviews in a different section of their site. Heck, even MBC had me fooled by showing a ‘clean’ record on Louis R Mandris, but google his name with lawsuit and check the San Bernardino court records, you find what I did hopefully before you sign up for devastation like myself.

He didn’t complete muscle repair for my tummy tuck, claiming in surgeons report it wasn’t part of the plan but this was not only discussed it was on the documents I signed. Instead of filling my breast to no more than 550cc’s, Louis R Mandris chose to fill them to 650cc’s. Why, because he saw this perfect little body sitting in front of him and it just needed the boobies to match…those words came directly out of his mouth. His nurses stood there listening and i guarantee neither of them chose to report him for his unethical behavior. The nurses know the devastation Louis R Mandris has caused. Those nurses sit there following Louis R Mandris’ lead lying and telling you your expectation of recovery wasn’t realistic. Louis R Mandris, this staff at Beverly Hills Physicians in Rancho Cucamonga, this company is dishonest, disgusting, unethical, vile. Check your reviews on him thoroughly as some sites will scrub/hide/not recommend reviews within another part of the reviewing area. Even checking the MBC was a false sense of security because it showed me his record was clean. But google Louis R Mandris with Lawsuit and check the case on San Bernardino county court system and you’ll have access to what I found too late.

Now you’ve got a bit of a double bubble but hopefully it’ll dissolve after a few days.’ There we’re 2 nurses in the room at the time, these nurses fail patient after patient following the lead of this doctor lying to patients directly as well, not reporting this man for doing such unethical things, having such horrendous bedside manner. It’s disgusting. They are just as much at fault as Louis R Mandris is. I was told by this staff Louis R Mandris had 40 years ‘experience’, just another point where the entire staff fails patients and lies. Check other sites thoroughly, some sites hide/scrub/not recommend reviews within another part of the review area. Louis R Mandris is the worst of the worst.

In 2004 while he practiced in Lewes DE I went in for a facelift. He damaged my perodit gland and I was in misery for 72 days till he put me in the hospital to repair it. To this day I have pain and saliva discharge on the left side.

Disfigured my stomach. This can't be fixed. I will live with this for the rest of my life.

I believe Dr. Mandris was under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he did my breast augmentation and in subsequent appointments. When I told him at a subsequent appointment that they implants were too high he told me I hadn't worn the strap properly (I had). He looked my in the eye with his face close to mine telling me how beautiful my new breasts looked. I wish I had filed a malpractice case against him. I can't express my how much I regret putting my body in the hands of this butcher

Dr. Mandris performed a phenol peel on me in 1998. He caused third degree burns on my face. I had to have 50 corrective surgeries from another Dr. in order to make my horrible scars look presentable. Like the other reviewers have said, he blamed me for the result, denied he did anything wrong. This is a very dangerous Dr. and anyone who goes to him for any reason is taking a huge chance of a good result. Beware.

This doctor things he can make decisions for you while you are under. I had both breast reduction and nose job done. I dont know what went wrong on operating table but he made a judgment call not to complete my nose and when I asked him he said "I made a judgment call not to break the bone". I was so upset and he said he will do it for free next time. After few months of agony with my infected breasts and him panicing, he told me for my nose he needs to charge me $2000 for the anastesia. I told him I already paid for the whole thing in the first place and it was not my decision not to do my procidure. He said I am still doing it for free but the other doctor needs to be paid. Needless to say, I did not go though with it and took my file to another doctor so they can review to see why I had such horrible breast reduction done. The doctor that reviewed my file said there were pages missing and he couldnt tell. So not only does this doctor do lousy job, but he also covers his tracs. I am stuck with horrible looking breasts and money I paid for my nose was never refunded to me. Please consider carefully before you chose this doctor.

Dr. Mandris made my implants too high which resulted in a "double bubble." He made my breasts over twice the size upon which we agreed. When I woke up, he explained that he made the decision because "most women think that their implants are too large." I am a professional woman, so the size he gave me makes me feel embarrassed. After the surgery, he suggested he should lift the nipple to give it the "Hollywood look." When I consulted with another plastic surgeon, he suggested that Dr. Mandris was trying to make up for the ultra-high implants. The WORST part is that when he did liposuction to my stomach, he completely botched it. I have pucker marks all over from where he removed fat to close to the skin. While I can revise my implants (for thousands more), I can never do anything to revise my stomach (not even a tummy tuck). I have to live with Dr. Mandris's mistake for the rest of my life. Do NOT go to this doctor. His skills are sub-par, and the last thing you should do is trust your body with Dr. Mandris.
