My son has been waiting over a month for an approval to take a test. The office staff still has not processed the request. This is someone's life they are dealing with. Very cavalier and incompetent staff.

Dr Merla is a fantastic Doctor he's very smart. His office staff can be absurdly incompetent. However my experience is almost every Doctor these days has incompetent bungling staff. Doctor Merla is a very talented Heart Doctor and surgeon.

Dr. Merla is an excellent cardiologist. I've been taking my grandmother to him now for 3 years. He is very patient even though he is busy. Answers all my questions and will ask if I have any more before he leaves. His staff is friendly and efficient. We have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be called in. I'm glad he was recommended to us by my grandmother's primary doctor and therefore I would also recommend him to anyone.

Dr Merla moved across the hall to suite 201.The wait to see the doctor was minimal. The medical assistant was very pleasant, thorough, and explained her way through each of her vital sign measurements.Dr Merla was quick, but very thorough. I never felt rushed and he made sure I understood and was comfortable with his assessment and recommendations. I was very satisfied with this physician and his staff and office. I would recommend recommend them to anyone.

It is unfair to rate the doctor because we never got that far. The scheduling staff lead by Esther are unsympathetic, rude and are a cause for their patients to experience high levels of stress. These are grossly incompetent characteristics for cardiology.

Not happy with this physician and staff. Took my father as a new patient. Felt rushed and didn't ask appropriate questions about his history. Didn't even auscultate my father during his exam. What cardiologist would not listen to his patient's heart? Waited for 2 weeks for an update on an authorization that never came in because staff never submitted it. Now seeking for a new cardiologist for my father
