Methusa Mejia's Online Review Report Card

If I can give cero start I will unprofessional methuza most of the time using just the computer their staff also are not good enough. And the doctor is very rude she change so much I was with her for more then 15 years but is the last time my daughters will be there again.

DO NOT COME HERE! I came in with my mother to see Dr. Methusa, and right away she was very rude and was not welcoming at all. I felt very uncomfortable from how she was speaking to me, not only was she rude but the front office ladies were just as rude towards the end of our check up. When we were done talking with Dr. Methusa we went to the front desk to pick up my immunization card just to find out they misplaced it and lost it. The front desk kept telling my mother to check her purse because she must have misplaced it after she looked and told them they did not give it back to her. We never got it back, terrible service, terrible manners, do not come here unless you want the worse service for your kids. Never coming back.

This office often practices insurance fraud and extortion of their patients (more like patrons.) The main doctor of the office (Mizrahi) hasn’t even been in for years, and Mejia has no clue what she’s doing. Don’t expect any help from this office, as the only thing it’s good for is getting referrals to doctors who can ACTUALLY help/do something. Most of the time the calls are never picked up (during their so called office hours) and i’ve shown up to an appointment only for the office to be completely empty. If you come here expect to be extorted for a pathetic amount of money or to sit in the “exam room” for an hour, or more, so they can get the money from your insurance. Don’t waste your time, or sanity and definitely find someone else.

My kids started seeing Dr. Mejia well over 6 years ago and she had always seemed a little cold and stern but of recent (the last 2-3 years) she has been unbelievably rude in the way she speaks to her patients and the guardians. My kids were due for their 7th grade shots and I forewarned their dad about her attitude and how rude she can be. Was to no surprise that he left there wanting to switch doctors, telling me how uncomfortable she made him and our children feel. She should definitely consider retirement or maybe something she can find joy in because she clearly she is not happy with where she's at. Sadly I recently recommended her to a friend (as she has been my children's Dr for years) and they had the same experience of how mean she was to them and their daughter.

We’ve always had great service with dr. Mejia and her staff. She’s a caring doctor with great advice.

She is not professional, she never listens to you, she never gives follow-ups to your health or the results of referrals. She is also very old school and plays favorites depending on your insurance. if you have a government insurance, this is not the place for your child. they do not care about the patients with government insurance. they leave you waiting in room number 5 and for the best insurance, they put them in room 1, 2, or 3. If you have insurance like IEhp, they makes you wait an hour in rooms 4-5 and they prioritize good insurance patients.
