I can’t get his office to call me back for an appointment! It’s been almost two weeks that the referral has been sent. Office called me 8/31/22 asking me to call back. I’ve called almost daily and no call back to set an appointment. I’m trying to avoid dialysis. How can I trust him with a staff like this?

Appreciate so much Dr. Batarse and the care he gives! He returns calls personally and gives regular follow up visits to better manage chronic condition.

Dr. Batarse is the first specialist I’ve worked with that returns my calls quickly, listens to my concerns and deals with them in a precise and professional manner. He treats me with respect at all times. One of his staff in particular is stellar in her ability to handle and solve problems. When there is any confusion or communication breakdown, I always relax when Gilly answers the phone. She actively listens to the issue and takes appropriate steps to resolve it. I am so relieved that Dr. Batarse has taken me on as a patient. My issues require regular communication and sometimes quick changes in medication, and frequent lab tests, and some of my symptoms if ignored could be life threatening. Sometimes my symptoms can be frightening and both Gilly and the doctor do not diminish my feelings, but understand my concerns. We’re still actively working on the exact treatment, but I trust the doctors systematic approach, and I’m much less frightened about my situation than I’ve been in many years. Thank you Dr. Batarse and staff. I appreciate each of you.

Everyone at this office is great! The front desk staff and MAs are always so friendly and Dr. Batarse is really knowledgeable and very open and honest. He takes the time to talk to you and explain things and answer questions. I also saw (I believe she is a PA or NP) and she was also really good.

It’s a shamed I have to give even 1 star, My husband was in the hospital for a couple of weeks, ended up having heart surgery and then having to be put on dialysis, he’s been out of work for a few weeks now, I have called countless times asking to have his disability papers signed, always getting a answer, oh I understand all get to it in a few days, we’ll those days have turned into months, I don’t know about other people but it’s hard enough having to have your life turned upside down and then not having any income coming in because you’re Dr. won’t sign your paper work, I hope and pray that nothing like this ever happens to you Dr. Batarsé because life it’s self is hard enough, and not having any income just makes it’s so much harder!!
