I went to see Dr. KC Maasumi after years of migraine pain. He performed several trigger point injections for me and my migraines have almost disappeared. He was wonderful and so gentle. He explains things thoroughly as he discusses them with you so you understand your treatment. I am very happy with him.

My experience with Dr. Maasumi was wonderful. His staff is great and supportive and everyone works with you to accommodate your needs and concerns. My wife saw him first, then I went when I had similar issues. We were both happy to drive over an hour to his office because of the great experience.

Dr. Maasumi provides comprehensive and effective relief for my debilitating migraines. I would have a much smaller quality of life without his care. Dori has been wonderful in helping with insurance issues and making sure I don't miss any treatments. 100% caring, effective patient care. Would absolutely recommend.

Dr. Maasumi was able to diagnose and solve my rare hypnic headache issues in one appointment! I have seen four other neurologists/pain management specialists over the past six years with limited success. Thank you Dr. Maasumi for listening to me, hearing my symptoms, and solving my problem.

I came to Dr. Maasumi a couple of months ago with chronic headaches/migraines for two years, kind of a last ditch effort to see if I can get some kind of relief from headaches. Dr. Massumi took the time to listen and work out a plan of care. He and his office staff worked hard to get insurance to approve medical care. I know I have a long road ahead but i am definitely seeing improvement over the past few months. Truly grateful I found this doctor.

My daughter has had awful migraines for over 5 years and finding the right specialist was so difficult. Then I found Dr Massumi. He is so kind and compassionate and listened to all her symptoms as well as worked around her extremely busy schedule. Thankfully, She hasn’t had a migraine since we started seeing Dr Massumi. I highly recommend Dr Massumi if you’re suffering.

Such a caring and kind doctor! I have had migraines since I was 9 and after seeing Dr Maasumi I am finally feeling better. He really takes time to understand your history and learn about your current issues. He even responded to my email on Mother's Day when I was having a terrible episode. He truly cares about his patients. Great human being!

Absolutely amazing. My husband has had cluster headaches for over 30 years. Last fall he started getting migraines on a constant basis. We have an HMO plan and it would have taken months to see a specialist. We chose to go out of pocket to Dr. Maasumi. It was the best decision we could have made. He is experienced and caring. He's taken more time to find out everything going on with Mike to find out how best to help him than any Doctor we've even known. We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Maasumi. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment to see him. You'll be glad you did.

Dr. Maasumi is hands-down the best migraine specialist I have ever met. I have suffered from migraines for the past thirty-three years and have been to numerous specialists. I first met Dr. Maasumi when he was at the headache clinic in San Francisco. At our first appointment, he sat down with me and spent the time to go over every medication I had ever taken to treat migraines. (No other neurologist or pain specialist had ever talked to me about it and there were over 50 medications that I tried). We came up with a course of treatment that immediately improved my life. When he moved to Southern California I followed him. I fly down from Northern California every ten weeks for treatment. Dr. Maasumi is always there, and he is always available. Plus, did I mention that the man is absolutely brilliant and creative and passionate about helping his patients???? He's amazing! Through Dr. Maasumi's interventions my life has improved. I still have chronic migraines (genetics make it rough) but now I am able to function. I am able to work, to be with my family and friends, to volunteer, and to be an active participant in life instead of living my life shut in a dark room and in pain. I credit this change in my life to Dr. Maasumi. I recommend him to everyone I know who suffers from migraines. Please, do yourself a favor and use him.
