My MRI techs were great but I'm wondering when the owners/CEO/COO will stop drinking the blue koolaid. As a non medical professional, I seem to know more about masks than the drs do. These poor employees.

I hate leaving reviews and I usually do not participate the rankings of society but this place is TERRIBLE. I have been dealing with this place the last 8 years and have not once been satisfied with the service provided. First: They will reschedule you time after time again and never have an actual reason to why this happens. Second: You will arrive at your given appointment time and will be turned away because you are not in their system but yet have been a patient for the last 8 years... Third: Fax, which is my biggest complaint. They obviously can't keep up with their fax machine especially when it involves referrals. We have had to wait months and months for them to "receive" referrals even though I have been present at my doctors office on multiple occasions when the referrals have been sent through with confirmation. So where are the referrals going? They never have an educated answer for that either.

I'm writing this review to hopefully help others who have no other imaging options in Redding. You CAN NOT trust the reports sent to your doctor. ALWAYS have the images sent directly to your doctor and have them do their own evaluation. I've had two MRIs done here and both of my specialists found errors in the reports! One report even said there was absolutely nothing wrong which was completely false. I tried telling MD about this and they don't really seem to care. So, again, if your insurance doesn't let you go anywhere else, have your doctor look at the image!!

The X-ray tech Steven/Stephen (?) was super nice and took time to help me even though they were busy he didn’t act like he was rushed. As someone with high functioning anxiety it was really great to be treated in a warm and welcoming manner. I have “pain brain” and forgot something he said just after he said it and when I asked him what he had said he answered me normally without making me feel uncomfortable or talking down to me- this was such a relief Thanks Steven/Stephen!

As I arrived for my scan today I was nervous and rightfully so I’ve got a lot going on, I need answers. So when I came to MD imaging I expected just that, answers. Upon an early arrival I was being turned away. You may be wondering what would’ve caused a company to turn away a paying customer in a medical situation like this (at this point in the story I’m thinking he’s psycho or something)… the answer is simple, kids. Seeing as how I had nobody to watch my kids today the front desk informed me that kids are not allowed in to any exam rooms unless they are the one being exam. Apparently it’s some type of new for Covid rule they created, although when I asked for policy, there was no proof to be shown. No matter the possible solutions I came up with MDI would NOT attempt to help OR offer a solution. Now, not only do I not have the medical answers I was seeking, with my schedule I’m not sure when I’ll be able to make it back.

I had a very pleasant experience here and it was not a simple procedure I needed done. All of the providers I had to deal with along the way were friendly, answered all my questions patiently, and were very good at what they do. Everything went smoothly and I felt I was treated with great care. The office and grounds are also pleasant and dont feel outdated or super "hospital" sterile looking.
