John C. Lange's Online Review Report Card

He did an arthroscopy on my shoulder, the results were great. Dr Lange was the best explaining everything.Great human being and fun too!!

I was treated by Dr Lange for hip preplacement(total). My surgery took place Nov 9th 2017 at Shasta Regional hospital. Without question.. the procedure was a total success and I would highly recommend you be treated by him. In all aspects from bedside manner to surgery this man is 100%!!

Would never refer him to any one.. He did a leg shorting on my leg. Lied to me on what happened in surgery .. Had me walk five days on crutches, witch caused me to fall and bust everything.. Took him 4 days to return my call. Another 4 days to get me in. The joint broke from hip to thigh bone, causing the inner rod to come up into plevic bone.. 3 months latter had the never to tell me " no no no you are wrong we never said anything about a fix surgery, you have 1-2yr recovery time....not happy

He did a leg shorting in January of this yr. I was lied to on what he did. Was told by him to walk w crutches five days later. Fell broke joint from hip to thigh bone. Inner rod is now hit my plevic bone.. After 2 months of hi telling m hill fix it. On March 15,2017 tells me the he never ever Sid surgey To fix...... My leg is mangled I have pics nod xrays to prove it

Did not have good "Bedside Manner" And was pretty vague when I asked questions. Will not return or recommend. The other doctors in the practice are much more qualified, and I will continue to see them.

i believe he is the reason I now have chronic pain in my feet. Scraping off tendon does not seem like a good thing to do. I also had to wait 2 weeks to get an appointment for casting after x rays showed 2 broken bones.

He forgot to submit notes for three weeks. waited and waited for MRI. once I had the MRI it wasn't ordered correctly with sedation. Now nurse won't call back or call MRI center to reschedule. Shasta ortho seem to want to keep business in house. otherwise they ignore you.

Stay Away . He is a cut n go surgeon . He did a knee replacement on me and several others that I know and not one if us has had good results . He could care less after the surgery n won't help w pain control or complications, it is as if he thinks there is no issue or doesn't want to admit to it . When you first meet him he is jovial n friendly n appears knowledgeable however that quickly changes after you are committed . The nurses at the hospital were sad I had chosen him and felt sorry for me as they knew I wouldn't get follow up or pain control and they actually called a different surgeon in to help . I would have been better with the destroyed knee than where I am today .. Such regrets

Dr.Lange seems very knowledgeable however the staffing at this facility is horrible! It takes weeks to get follow up appointments when the doctor requests to see you back in a week. Staff is rude, made huge mistakes on billing and lied about them. (Thank heavens I have insurance background or I would have been taken advantage of!) I canceled both surgeries with this facility and would not reccommend anyone go back there!
