My son had cancer in 1996 at the time Cancer center was not ready for my son. We did get to have Dr. Patel for my son's CBC's & blood transfusions & after he left Loyal Hospital (My son & I had the worst experience with Loyal hospital & their doctors, too) Dr. Patel helped my son after he left Loyal Hosptial. He has helped my family so much. I trust Dr. Patel 100000% with my health. My Mom in 2001, breast cancer and now I have cancer. I love Dr. Patel & all his staff. When I told my son that I now also have cancer. My son told me, "Mom you are in good hands with Dr. Patel." My son is right. Dr. Patel found a spot on my back. And now I am getting radiation treatment for my back So now I have 10 days then after that, I go back on chemo. Dr. Patel cares about you as a person. I am so glad he is still with Rush-Copley. My family & I love Dr. K. Patel so much and your staff is super. Thank you for everything you do for your patients, Dr. Patel & staff. You want the best, go to Dr. Patel!! Just so you know, my son is now 40 & is cancer-free for 22 yrs. My Mom had radiation for breast cancer had Dr. Patel/Dr. Ready in 2001. She died 2017 of last year at a good old age of 95 yrs. Thanks to Dr. Patel. Yes, I believe in Dr. Patel & Dr. Chen and all the Staff at Rush/Copley Cancer Center. I love everyone there. And sometimes we have our music man (Chet) come in to play his guitar. Love the music, Chet! We meet lots of people that just need a hug, too. To me, I have had doctors that have had no patience or treat you just like you are just a number. Dr. Patel does not do that he cares & very understanding & if you have a pain he will find out why you are getting that pain. I found out ER doctors don't catch little things that are there because that is not their field. Like the spot on my spine. Dr. Patel caught in right away if he did not I would be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Thank you so much, Dr. Patel & Dr. Chen and all your sweet loving & Caring Staff. What I like the most is when you enter the building you meet "Patty". She is the most smiling & making you feel better just by her presence. You are in Good Hands at Rush-Copley Cancer Center. They are helpful & will make you feel right at home. Thank You all at Rush-Copley Cancer Center, doctors & great staff!

This is the Absolute TRUTH about Dr. Patel. This man is Passionate about saving people from Cancer. He Does Care Very Much! He is VERY Clinical though. I am ok with the harsh facts straight up. He saved my life when I was 25 from Hodgkins Lymphoma. He literally walked me through the hospital test after test to start my treatment within a couple days or I was going to die. He always listened intently and came up with an effective plan when I had a complication. He did come highly recommended and is a good choice if you insist on getting treated in the burbs. With that said What you will not get from this Cancer Center is a feeling of HOPE no matter what your diagnosis. Your BEST bet is probably Rush in Chicago. They have better access to the latest and Greatest trials which you may not get here in the burbs. For all who have Cancer Remember this...A doctor Cannot tell you how long you will live! You need to fight and be positive! I have seen Many fight Cancer and have outlived the time by many many many year of what they were originally told. It upsets me Very much when a Dr. Doesn't Always keep up a Very Positive Outlook on a Prognosis. Unfortunately this is the practice in too many offices but it doesn't mean they are bad doctor's. Lastly, Lung Cancer? Stop looking for a Doctor..Go to Dr. Bonomi at Rush in Chicago. I believe he is the best for Lung Cancer in the area! May God Bless You!!!

Wow dont know how Dr. Patel is getting these awful ratings, he saved my life when I had breast cancer, went to 3 other doctors 1 at Northwestern In Chicago, all of which told me I had less then 12 months. Dr. Patel told me he would plan an agressive treatment, and now I have been in remission for 5 years. These other reviews are bogus considering he has the most cancer patients within a 50 mil radius, and his practice is well known in the area. Dont let the other reviews fool you. AMAZING Doctor.

Dr. Patel is a very caring person who really listens. He is happy to discuss items I find on the internet, a real plus.It took me going to several doctors before I decided to go to Dr. Patel. I am very happy with him as my doctor.

I am glad to see that someone else has the same opinion as I have about this guy's capacity. Arrogant to the core and absolute no empathy for his patients. Wonder how he survives to practice despite his lack of skills
