I took my 1yr in and they told me she was very Dehydrated and need a IV and she had RSV. We were taken to the back were they gave her an IV and as they were doing this the Dr. Came in but we couldn't talk because the baby was freaking out due to getting an IV. He said he would come back and check her out. An hour later the IV ran out and we sat there waiting for the nurse to come back 2 hours later the nurse came in and said that the Dr. Wanted to give the baby more fluids and he would be back to add another bag 3 hours later they never came back in with a bag then another hour went by and said ok we will bring in another bag but they nerve did now we have been there for 7 hrs at this point she hasn't eaten anything shes tired and hungry and they said we could go and the DR.. NEVER CAME IN TO SEE HER NOT ONCE DID HE CHECK HER BREATHING OR DEHYDRATION. If it wasn't for the nurses there she wouldn't had even been see or checked of RSV.
Everyone was very helpful and professional.. I was well taken care of.. Thank you Mercy..
Everyone from point of check in to the Nurse, and the respiratory therapist at Mercy Hospital was soo nice and welcoming , plus, the ER was nicely put together...great and smooth experience all around...! Thank you All!
Hi my name is Matt and in aug 2019 I was brought to mercy in an ambulance following a car accident..when I arrived I was out of sorts and in severe pain…severe whiplash and broken extremities..I was by myself as I was visiting my daughter in Redding when this happened and she was at work..the staff failed to get my medical insurance info and I figured since the other driver was at fault that their insurance was taking care of it..wrong!!!…so I was discharged after several hours and received a phone call from Redding police stating the other driver had no insurance…I received another call soon after and it was the hospital saying they didn’t have my medical insurance info so my wife happily gave them my insurance information so they could bill…a few months went by and I received a $4000 bill in the mail and we called and gave them the medical insurance AGAIN…they didn’t submit the bill in time to my insurance and my insurance denied them their payment because they took to long…upon calling the hospital and got nowhere but still responsible for this bill..they have now turned me into a collection agency and are destroying my perfect credit..FOR THEIR MISTAKE!!!!!!…talking to attorneys about this!!!
This is the only time in my life I've ever had surgery are trained in the basic way and medical procedure and I can tell you for a fact these guys are tip top shape my doctor was phenomenal my recovery time was supposed to be 4 to 6 or 6 to 8 weeks I recovered completely in 5 days but of course that's only because I've got dr. Heather Warren as my surgeon and she's a genius. Anyway if you're up for surgery go to Mercy man that's where it's at.
Everyone who works at mercy are wonderful and compassionateexcept one young girl at check in needs to learn compassion I will eternally be grateful for to all the people who saved my husband Roger Hilburn life thank you I love all of you. We are back in here I only have a few suggestions put closed caption on all the TVs especially in the er. And.get rid of the high fructose corn syrup everyone knows it's bad for you but it's really a wonderful place thank you for saving my husband life after 30 minutes of CPR and keeping him alive God bless you all
I showed up on the wrong day for my appointment and they got me in and took care of me I got my test done and it was an excellent visit
ER is very slow getting thru but, everyone was very nice. I know times are different now because of Covid. I had Outpatient surgery a few days later. Everything and everyone has been very good helping us get through this process. Thank you!
We were on a trip from Tuscan to Portland when my Mom got pneumonia and we were takes to Shasta Regional Medical Center Emergency Department. She received the best care, the staff, RN, RT, techs & Dr all listened and made sure we were involved in the decision making process. She was admitted for 4 days in PCU and we again got the best care! Thank you for helping my Mom get well!!!
I walked into Mercy Medical for needed surgery, wearing a brand new N95 rated Covid mask. They wouldn't let me wear it and instead handed me a cheap, improperly fitting mask that does not meet N95 standards. They insisted I wear it instead of mine. That meant I would be only 5% protected from Covid in a hospital that is overwhelmed with Covid patents. I explained all this to them and they said that is their policy. I asked why don't they provide N95 masks for their patients? They said it cost too much. I asked why don't they offer their patients the option of buying an N95 mask and charging them for it? They said it isn't necessary. I said your hospital is flooded with Covid patients and it IS necessary to protect those who don't have Covid from getting it and then spreading it around. They answered that their Covid patients have masks on. I asked are those masks N95 rated? They said no. Don't walk into this hospital unless you expect to be exposed to Covid. Money and idiotic policy rules mean more to them than protecting your life.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
