My experience with Dr. Saidman was terrible. Me and my girlfriend, who is 10 weeks pregnant, went in for our first ultrasound. I was not allowed to be present during the sonogram of the baby, this was not a big deal. After the ultrasound, I was brought into the room with Dr. Saidman and the sonographer. My girlfriend was still lying on the exam table half undressed with ultrasound gel on her at this point. He briefly introduced himself, told us based on the images the baby was not viable, and that we needed to contact her primary care physician to figure out what to do next. He then told us to have a nice day and left the room without giving us the opportunity to ask any questions or offer any explanation as to what happened or what options we had to choose from next. He didn't even tell us sorry for our loss. The entire encounter with Dr. Saidman lasted a total of maybe 20 seconds. We were both taken back by what had just occurred, and crushed by the news that we received and the manner by which it was given to us. I would highly advise against this doctor if you want to be treated with any kind of compassion because he has none based on my experience.
