List of Shasta Regional Medical Center's Reviews
One of the worst hospital in northern California. Nurses are physically and mentally abusive to patients in the mental health ward. They lie on medical records to cover up the abuse, they push pills on patients with out any meetings with a doctor, no real help or proper services are provided, and when you report any problems with staff and mistreatment you are laughter at and told they can do whatever they want to you.

Well after taking all the treatment sent to me by Dr. Chief i went back to the Hospital for check up, and now i have been confirmed HIV Negative, His wonderful! Thank you Dr. Chief! Horrible emergency room doctor. He doesn't care at all. Very rude.
I thought the other place was bad..... would rather die on the street.
The doctor is condenseding and unhelpful. I've had him a few times and he is creating this one star review.
I am a senior citizen and got a head injury and laceration above my eye while houseboating on the lake. I waited more than 8 hours to be seen and received my stitches in the hallway at 2:00am! No X-ray or CT to make sure my brain was ok. Now the hospital is disputing the $1300. They received from my insurance. I just can't imagine that some lidocaine and needle and thread and one doctor spending 15 minutes would be worth more than that. Plus, the waiting room was scary with drug addicts screaming and pounding on the walls, floor and furniture, demanding to be seen! I will never seek help at this hospital again!! Worst experience ever!
I hadn't eaten in days and was backed up and heart rate was up. I thought I better go to the doctor and all they did is tell me to get some Miralax. They didn't even do a scan and I had blue cross insurance. The little nurse was such a dud. She had this do nothing...no nothing policy embedded in her lack of actions.I finally went to a healing center and they fixed me up. I really would give this place zero stars if I could. Very sad to know that if you get ill, you can't count on the hospital to take action.
I had an abcess next to my ear. Best ER visit ever. Very fast and friendly service. Great for out of towners. The doctor was very friendly and I was in and out within 30 minutes.
Every time I go I have a terrible experience. Rude staff and doctors
Whatever you do if you have Covid do not go to this emergency room. You’re outside it’s dirty it’s cold, in seven hours I can’t even get some water to drink. I became dehydrated, and had to lay down on the dirty filthy concrete ground until my boyfriend got back to help me up and take me home. Seven hours no real help. My blood pressure was 199/119. Went home drank water took a shower and went to bed after a long hard uncompassionate day.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
