September 23rd, 2021, he performed a Bunelli procedure (I think, there's two types of fixes) for a scapholunate dissociation (ligament tear) in my left wrist. I am extremely satisfied. After 14 months my strength has fully returned (and then some) with very minimal loss of range of motion.

Dr Ferraro performed karpal tunnel surgery on both my hands recently & I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! I was able to use my hands lightly within 2 weeks of the surgery. I chose dr Ferraro after researching online, seeing his high ratings. If anyone is considering the procedure, I Strongly recommend Dr. Ferraro!

I had a tumor removed from my wrist tendon and I couldn't be more pleased! Everything went better than I had expected and I am very pleased!

Dr had to work on my Hand 2 times after he messed up the first and then I had to wait 4-5 months for a new surgery. At present at the end of my right arm is a ball of pain. He refused to proscribe pain meds after his people sent my scrip to a local pharmacy when all my meds came Thur the VA. When I brought this to there attention they got angry and refused to revise the script and said all pain meds had to come from the va. Well the va did not agree and cut me off. So now I’m left with a right hand that does not work

I went to Dr. Ferrari for severe thumb and hand pain. He looked at it and insisted I had trigger finger and wanted to give me a shot of steroids. I refused as I have immunity issues along with adrenal issues. He gave me a shot of something else instead. It didn't help at all and actually felt worse afterward. I went back a month later to tell him the pain was worse. He said I needed trigger finger surgery. Now I have had several trigger finger issues before. This feels completely different and the pain is in a different area. I told him I do not believe I have trigger finger! I again showed him where the pain is and how it feels. He insisted it is trigger finger and didn't take any x-rays. We scheduled surgery. I had it done and NOT to my surprise it did NOT fix the problem! A month after the surgery I went back to tell him he did NOT fix the problem. In fact the pain seemed to be worse than ever.I did not see the doctor but one of his assistants. I explained how angry I am about the issue. I told him how Dr. Ferrari refused to listen to me and as a result he did an unnecessary surgery! Now not only do I have to pay for an unnecessary surgery I have to have my hand operated on again. I insisted on an MRI of my hand to prove my claim. When I received my copy of the MRI it proved I was correct! Now I need a major surgery to fix my torn up hand! I will NOT return to Dr. Ferraro! I am in the process of trying to find another surgeon to fix my hand. I now have to go out of state for a surgeon. I called my insurance company and reported my experience so that they would be aware of this doctor and his bad practices. People, please make sure you are heard!!

would not recommend Dr Ferraro to anyone !!!

He replaced my left thumb joint (I didn’ Know they could do that). Before I had it done I couldn’t sleep. It went so well. I sleep again and my thumb works great!! Thank you! Guy.

Mine was excellent. After several steroid injections by others, he did one injection and I experienced almost immediate relief. He discussed surgery as really a last resort for my condition.

My husband went to Dr. Ferraro and was treated to the wrong hand surgery (had a bone chip in hand from a fall) which Dr. Ferraro insisted was arthritis which resulted in my husband having to having two other surgeries by another doctor to correct the problem. One to take out the bone chip which was the size of a thumb nail and is amazing Dr. Ferraro did not see when he did his surgery. The other surgery was to take out the other half of a tendon that Dr. Ferraro took out to do his wrong surgery which had attached to a nerve in my husbands hand. The second surgeon said he always takes the full tendon out to prevent this very problem. I think Dr. Ferraro is only interested in making money with doing his "stock" surgeries and I agree with the other review when he is done with the surgery right or wrong, fixed or still hurting, he is done.

My husband went to Dr. Ferraro after having hand pain for six months. He told Dr. Ferraro he had slipped and fell down on his hand and he thought he had a piece of bone broken off in his hand as he could feel it move around. Dr. Ferraro insisted he had arthritis in his thumb and several shots later my husband agreed to surgery. After the surgery with no improvement in pain and multiple more shots in his hand, he told Dr. Ferraro he still believed it was a piece of bone in his hand causing the pain. Dr. Ferraro ignored this suggestion. Finally, my husband consulted another Surgeon in San Diego, who went in and did indeed find a bone chip in his hand. It is amazing the Dr. Ferraro did not see the chip when he did his surgery as it was the size of a thumb nail and in the area he did the surgery in. After the second surgeon took out the piece of bone my husbands hand felt instantly better. However, as the months progressed, my husband began to experience pain in his forearm where Dr. Ferraro took out tendon to use in his surgery of the thumb area (which did not need surgery as it was a bone chip) He returned to Dr Ferraro who again wanted to give shots in the arm. My husband refused the shots and we returned to San Diego and had the surgeon who found the chip in his hand look at his arm. It turns out the Dr. Ferraro only removed half of the tendon in his arm and the other half attached to a nerve. So the San Diego surgeon took out the remaining tendon (he said he always removed the whole thing) and now after three surgeries (two needless) he is finally ok. Dr. Ferraro does not listen or care about his patients in our opinion.
