List of Vibra Hospital Of Northern California's Reviews
The nurses & care were excellent. Myriah was a great CNA. She washed my hair when I wasn’t able to shower yet. Her care & companionship helped me get back on my feet & achieve a full recovery. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone. All the LTAC floor is great.
Vibre Hospitol was a great experience for me. Honestly I received great care from all the nurses and wound care team were exceptional! Very professional sincere nice and funny group of ladies I especially would like to thank each one of them and Lisa and Kathy my case manager Doctor Kumar and every one of my nurses so many I can't list you are all wonderful and you all deserve a pay raise and if great vacation!!! Thank you for your care. Angie
My sister has been extremely ill and bedridden for several months. When she was moved to Vibra Hospital her care has been nothing short of amazing. From the nurses, certified nurse assistants, caregivers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, the wound team, and everyone that I've missed, they have provided her with top notch care, loving care, and compassionate care. From wanting to die to now wanting to live - her health has improved miraculously - due to all the wonderful, beautiful people who have been her angels. I want to thank the staff at Vibra Hospital from the bottom of my heart for saving my sister!!!
Thank you vibra. All of your teams are specialized in what they do. I really appreciated how all your different teams communicate & work together. Respatory saved my my mom's life.Wound team healed her wounds. Physical therapy gave her the strength to go home. The concierge is just the best.i highly recommend vibra for you or your family.
Been here for a little over two months and I can’t say enough good things about the place. The food is great. The staff is nothing short of amazing. Lisa the concierge has gone above and beyond multiple times for me. All and all I’d give 100 stars if I could. Thank you guys for everything you’ve done for me.Zach
• Vibra Hospital of Northern California virtual tour mentions that a treatment plan will be discussed with the family. As the main contact and family member of the patient, I was never informed of a treatment plan.• The patient was admitted to Vibra on June 7 directly from Shasta Regional Hospital. At that time, he did not have a bed sore. When The patient was admitted back to Shasta Regional on June 24, he had developed very painful bed sore. Upon his final discharge from Vibra on August 2, his bed sore was described by a Medical Home Care Professionals nurse as level 2-3. The patient is currently in extreme pain due to the bed sore.• While the patient was a patient at Shasta Regional June 1-7, I was informed that Vibra Hospital of Northern California was the only skilled nursing facility that could admit the patient because he was wearing a LifeVest. The Vibra Hospital of Northern California website advertises LifeVest as a treatment need that can be served, under OUR SERVICES: CARDIAC. Vibra DID NOT understand how to use the LifeVest properly resulting in malpractice and the LifeVest shocking the patient twice without need.• The discharge from Vibra Hospital of Northern California was a miserable experience, including premature forced discharge, miscommunication regarding oxygen and wheelchair to be issued upon discharge, incomplete family training to deal with issues, referral issue resulting in 5 delay to receive Home Care after discharge. Due to premature discharge, the patient has now been admitted to Copper Ridge Care Center to continue needed rehab and deal with medical issues formed at Vibra.• The Vibra Hospital of Northern California website has a listing of WHAT TO BRING FOR YOUR HOSPITAL STAY under PATIENT RESOURCES. Upon viewing this list, I packed all the requested items. During his 54 day stay, The patient was never dressed and remained in a hospital gown, excepting getting dressed for one doctor’s visit that I transported him to. I would have never known that this practice of keeping a patient in a hospital gown was not normal, except I have now learned from the patient’s recent admission into Copper Ridge Care Home that the patient will now have assistance getting dressed every day.I will state that Sherry and the nursing, OT and PT staff at Vibra were very nice and personable, but due to the reasons stated above, I felt I needed to write a review because I really hope to create awareness of our experience so that Vibra can evaluate their care and improve their patient experience for others.
Vibra saved my life. When I arrived at Vibra I was life flighted from Eureka, Ca. I had been hit by a car and suffered major trauma to my head and body. I had a collapsed lung, multiple traumatic brain injuries. I also suffered a stroke to my brain stem. My left leg was basically a noodle that had undergone emergency room treatment (a rod in place of my femur and multiple pins in my ankle). I was in a coma when I arrived at Vibra and was in this state for two months. I had a tube draining fluid from my brain. Despite all this Vibra managed to keep me alive and when I came out of the coma I had most of my wits about me and I wasn't permanently mentally disadvantaged as far as I can tell. I can not recommend them enough. Their nursing staff is friendly and attentive. Their rehabilitation staff is concerned and on point. If it was'n't for these teams and the doctors atvibra I would not be alive today. I cannot recommend enough.
I have been on both floors here at vibra. The top floor is very busy.. I really miss the staff from upstairs. Thankfully the kitchen cooks for both floors so the food is always good. The bottom is less busy. I am really enjoying the therapy staff on the bottom floor & getting stronger everyday. The TCU staff is dedicated to encouraging me in my determination to get home.
This facility is looking to keep your loved one in their LONG TERM NURSING HOME floor. They want to fill those long term beds and make money for the nursing home. They do what they can to insinuate your loved one would be better off there than at home and look for any reason to override family and KEEP them !I had a demand placed on me by the CEO who was running around the facility also playing as case management and discharge coordinator because the staffing is so low. She asked me on the phone " do you want your husband to come home " ? I stayed cool but why ask me that ? Of course i want my husband home he is 55 years young. Do not go here they will try to rob you of money and your life. ! I am a registered nurse of many years and we also have registered Nurses that come to the home twice a week to do wound care for my husband but the CEO wanted me to come in and do a complete demonstration of a medical procedure ( which I am capable of doing, but that is not the point). It is not a job I am asked to do at home because we have hired RN's to come do that. No nursing home especially the CEO of one should be asking the wife to come in and do that !The food is bad but that is life in any institution but my husband would get nauseated from the smell and could not eat all his meals. He lost a Kilogram of weight and he is too thin to begin with. On a previous stay I went to the medical records department to get all the records and they gave me somebody else's records. I knew they had just broke the HIPPA laws and I returned the records without looking at them. Discharge was a mess, poorly planned. My husband and I will do everything we can to make sure he never returns there again.
My brother Michael Redd is at Vibra Hospital after being hit by a car. He was a pedestrian and was in a coma for two weeks after being hit. He had a stroke, a brain bleed, broken ribs, collapsed lung, crushed leg, brain injury. This has been a very traumatic time in our lives. We have been grateful to the staff who has taken such great care of him. I also want to mention Lisa and Amy who kept us informed on his condition and helped with a lot of other matters. It means so much to the families who live so far away to hear a friendly voice letting you know what is going on with your loved ones. If it wasn’t for Lisa, Amy, and the nurses who keep us updated it would have been much harder to cope with. Thank you for all you did and are still doing for my brother and our family.Sincerely,Melissa Powe

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
