Dr. Yoh performed my cholecystectomy a few days ago. He was very kind, professional, and explained things well. I am already feeling so much better after surgery. He is an excellent doctor and I would recommend him to anyone.

Breast cancer diagnosis, Dr Yoh was very patient and present during the tears and visits. Excellent surgeon, instilled confidence, surgery successful 5 years later!
I have been struggling to keep food down for months from GERD and a hiatal hernia. (Diagnosed through Barium Swallow test in Oct/2018) I have since been throwing up blood, unable to eat a full meal, missed work and classes, experienced severe acid reflux and pain. I have had to take acid-blocking medication and elevate my bed to sleep. After explaining all of this during my referred appointment with him, he seemed completely indifferent. He probed my statements as to whether I “actually had acid reflux or not.” He also commented that my hernia was small, and told me that he’d refer me for three more tests, all from different areas. (24-hr PH test, upper GI Endoscopy, etc.) What he said: “I’m gonna refer you for these tests, and maybe I’ll see you back in a few months.” I was currently burping up acid and in lots of pain. He was 40 minutes late without addressing it, took several minutes sending texts on his phone in the room with me, and seemed uninterested and disassociated from me and the entire process. (Which only took 8 minutes) He walked out, telling me to “stay in there” while I was in tears, having just found out I won’t see relief for months or longer. I understand that things take time, and referrals and tests are often required. What truly bothered me was his attitude and mentality. I wouldn’t let someone open me up on a table who couldn’t care less how miserable I’m feeling now.
Dr. Yoh performed my surgery for breast cancer and did a great job. Dr. Yoh is very honest and thorough. While I was in recovery, he explained the details of my operation to my husband and answered all of his questions. He informed me of the pathology report and what basic treatment my oncologist would be offering in the next phase of my cancer fight. 6 months out from surgery, my scars look good and everything healed nicely. I would gladly see Dr. Yoh again if I need surgery in the future.
I have seen Dr. Yoh on 2 occasions and will be seeing him again soon. I feel he is very honest about what needs to be done and the likely results of any procedure. He seemed to genuinely care about the outcome.
Excellent staff - Beaver Medical Advantage and doctors. My husband had malignant melanoma and was moved through the system quickly, had surgery and a great prognosis so far. We are thrilled with Dr. Yoh, Dr. Hieu Phan and Mr. Ibrahim as well.
I highly recommend Dr. Yoh if you are looking to have surgery. he allows all the time you need to ask question and gives answer in depth so you can understanding what to expect at the time of surgery and after surgery. Thank you Dr. Yoh for curing me of breast Caner.
My mother was a patient of Dr. Yoh. He nicked an artery during surgery and didn't know it. Even though the signs showed she had internal bleeding and she ended up having a double blood transfusion 3 days after surgery, he still "was not concerned". The day after her double transfusion, she died. He tried to cover it up by telling me she had a heart attack. An autopsy revealed she died of internal bleeding. I realize accidents happen, but how you handle them is what defines your character. Dr. Yoh did not have the courage or decency to admit it may be something other than a heart attack. I only hope he has learned from this and has developed his moral compass.
