Dr. Anil P. Punjabi's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Punjabi did a mid face lift and fat graft to my face. After one month I went for a check up and mentioned to him that the scares were very noticeable he said that will disappear, have not!! The fat graft completely disappeared which I also mentioned to him and he said for 2,000 more he will inject more fat... what bothers me the most is how the scares turned out... judging by the size of the scares I can tell he was not very careful doing his job... do not recommend him...

If you want someone whose bedside manner is a mix of anger and cruelty with a side of demeaning sarcasm, Dr. Punjabi is your guy. You may also get lucky enough to have so little attention paid to you that days after seeing him, you can go to urgent care with an infection AND then count on that lovely bedside manner to ridicule you for going somewhere else even though he didn't have an available appointment for at least a week. Maybe if you are getting a boob job or spending $20k on some sort of cosmetic surgery, he will care more about you. Seems unlikely but he sure doesn't care to treat people with wounds in need of healing. He prefers shaming them for things they haven't done wrong.

Great surgeon, great guy

Dr. Punjabi did an amazing job removing our son's wisdom teeth.  We knew of him because he has an excellent reputation as a Plastic Surgeon and we felt very fortunate to have someone so experienced take care of our son.  He had four impacted wisdom teeth and had had sinus issues for the past few year.  His procedure could not have gone better and his healing was smooth sailing.  Dr. Punjabi checked in on our son that evening and has been available for any questions we have had since.  I highly recommend this very experienced surgeon!

Had 2 of my wisdom teeth extracted here. I ended up in the ER days later battling for my life. I almost bled to death. I lost half my body's count of blood. I had to have 2 emergency surgeries just to stop the bleeding and ended up spending an additional 5 days in the hospital just so the doctors were sure I was stable enough to go home. Turns out my artery and nerve were lacerated during my oral teeth extraction. This office failed to tell me this. And Dr. Punjabi's response to all this? That nothing happened to me and that he doesn't understand "who was putting voices in my head." On top of that they made it extremely difficult for me to get my medical records when all I wanted was a second opinion from another doctor. They made me drive to their office multiple times and basically demanded I see Dr. Punjabi before releasing it. This whole thing has changed my life, I've had to cancel many of my plans and relocated due to it. If this is the kind of care you want for yourself or your loved ones then by all means go with this clinic.I am pursing a legal case against Dr. Punjabi. Excellent conscientious surgeon.  I highly recommend Dr. Punjabi.  Excellent staff.

Dr Punjabi and his team are amazing. Very kind and professional, I would highly recommend! He performed emergency surgery on me and my follow up visits were just as awesome.

Dr Punjabi’s receptionist Tina began talking about me right in front of my face to another coworker on my very first visit for bone loss in my jaw. I told the Dr of her behavior immediately. He was very apologetic. Then when I called to leave some information for Dr Punjabi she set the phone down and I listened to her talk to someone revealing their personal information. I confronted the Dr with this information and he claimed I overheard her talking about me again and that I needed to confront her. That was a lie! The patient she was speaking of was not me. I heard the patient’s name, personal information and call back phone number! When I let him know that I heard the patient’s name and everything else, he told me that he couldn’t see me anymore and help me. His receptionist’s behavior is not only unprofessional, but illegal! The Dr’s behavior is complacent. He doesn’t want to her the truth. All he sees is $$. He doesn’t want to admit his business is going to be shut down due to Tina violating regulations and not protecting his patient’s personal info. These regulation are set forth by HIPA.
