I was referred to Dr. Torrey when I was diagnosed with RCC. His office staff assisted in all outstanding LOA documentation, coordinated pre-surgical testing, and expedited surgical resources at Redlands Community Hospital. Upon initial consultation, Dr. Torrey discussed his surgical plan (Open Radical Nephrectomy) and kept me updated during the whole process. The day after surgery I was able to stand and walk with minimal effort. During my short stay at the hospital, a number of medical professionals commented on how well my incision looked and that Dr. Torrey had done a fantastic job. After a short stay at the hospital, I was released to my house and stopped all pain medication 3 days following release. I am currently able to sit, stand, walk, and sleep with no issues. I am looking forward to my upcoming office visits and completely trust Dr. Torrey 100% for any future issues.

Worst doctor ever. Waited in his office for over an hour without anyone coming to update me on the status of the doctor. He never showed up. Most unprofessional office. Would NEVER EVER recommend this doctor to anyone.

In my experience, this was a doctor who was far too busy. I stayed with him for three years due to stones in both kidneys. Waits to see him were long, he didn't read my test results correctly, didn't tell me lemonade/lemon water could prevent stones, only ordered crushing my stones after an ER MD told me I'd lose my left kidney if they weren't pulverized. I left him for a younger, more conscientious specialist.

If this is the same Dr. Torrey that had an office in San Bernardino at 401 E 21st St - BEWARE! After he tested my father's PSA, and found it elevated, he did nothing. Not once but for a few years as the number rapidly increased to over 5.0 - WAY out of normal range. With a family history of prostate cancer, this doctor did nothing and my dad died. Anybody know where he ran off too? Redlands, maybe?
