Dr. Thomas M. Makowski's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Makowski is the most caring easy to talk to Doctor I have ever had and I have suffered from heart failure a very long time and have seen many cardiologist and none have even come close to him ! I highly recommend him ! ♡

Thomas Makowski saved my life! His keen diagnosis and expert care plan 20 years ago allow me today to play 18, and sometimes 36 holes of golf each week for the past 10 years. While I moved away from Redlands to Central Florida - my medical care from Tom Makowski was exceptional and it prepared me to live well into my 74th year this month. I will always be very grateful for his exceptional medical skills and the kind manner in which he delivered and guided my care.

I took my mother into Dr. Makowski to have her pacemaker checked. I was not aware of the model and was willingly to reschedule in order to find out that info yet this doctor went out of his way to use all the machines he had, from various makers, to see if he could gather the information from her pacemaker without rescheduling. I found him personable, delightful, and refreshing in his approach toward my mother, who has dementia and was unable to really communicate that day. Would recommend!!!

Dr. Makowski had prepared for my visit and was able to give me the information I needed in order to understand my cardiac status. He presented options to me that we easily understood and thorough. I found him to be very kind and caring and very intelligent. He has an ease about him that makes it easy to be in his presence. I appreciate the work he has done on my behalf and feel grateful that there is such a good cardiologist for us to see.

I was very nervous as one might be going into the unknown.Although everything had been explained , I did my research and even had friends that had undergone an Angiogram.As I lay in the "ready room" everyone was in good spirits at the hospital which made things much easier.Even considering it was Friday the 13th !!! In came Dr. Makowski;he was all smiles and very polite.The doctor made me feel very at ease , concerned how I was feeling and was I ready to go.As the procedure progressed conversation and encouragement was abundant.The entire team ,the "A" team as the doctor referred to them as couldn't have been better.This experience even as Angiograms go was made even better as to the care and comfort from the staff all the way to Dr.Makowski.My heart is no laughing matter and to have Dr.Makowski take such painstaking care of me and my heart and concern for my well being......well, enough said.If you choose Dr.Makowski and St Bernardine's hospital you will not be disappointed from a lack of caring.Thanks to all involved ....wont say I want to do it again,but; if I had to I would want none other than Dr.Thomas Makowski and the staff at St.Bernardines !!!!
