List of Loma Linda University Health Care's Reviews
Funny anecdote: I was trying to get help for my daughter so I called and left a message (it was a holiday weekend) for a call back. On the Tuesday after the holiday, I called them again to try and make an appointment. I was told they aren't taking any new patients which was disappointing, but I moved on. A little while later, I got the return call from the message I had left. When I told the lady that I had already contacted them earlier and was told they aren't accepting new patients, her reply was, "Oh, OK, well, I'm glad you got the help you needed". I just had to laugh at her response. Perhaps they need to train their staff that being told they can't see you is NOT the "help you needed" (or, maybe it really is!). Sorry Loma Linda University Behavioral Health but that response was a giant FAIL! I'll keep looking to get help for my daughter!
I mean out of a 10 its probably like a 4 like not the best but they made sure I'm still alive so thanks ig.The only thing was they trended to body juice me both times I went like bruh.
Went to the inpatient program for teens. I voluntarily checked myself in to get my severe OCD and depression treated. This place did NOT help in the slightest. One thing I remember is the little to no care the staff had for patients. So many people were crying or having a breakdown (myself included), and not a single nurse, therapist, or doctor checked on us. I saw a doctor only ONE TIME. When asking to see the doctors, I was always told that they were too busy. When discharged, they told me I was "attention seeking" when it came to my intrusive OCD thoughts or depression. Luckily I was diagnosed by a proper psychologist after leaving the hospital, and surprise surprise, they misdiagnosed me and sent me home with the trauma from seeing other patients in so much pain and a bottle of antidepressants. If you choose to voluntarily admit yourself, this is NOT the right hospital. Steer clear of this hospital if you are looking for actual treatment and plan.
My mother was here and they do not treat the patients good. These employees should not be able to take advantage of people with mental illness just for fun. This place needs to be thoroughly investigated for the way they treat their patients and visitors. Everyone should be following the same rules. They have video cameras but no audio so that already is bad because things look different on camera and without audio you cannot know how they mistreat their patients. They force their patients to take medication and if they deny medications they threaten them by saying they will sue them. There should be a psychiatrist to evaluate these patients individually and not just groups meetings.
this hospital is actually pretty nice compared to others. the only bad thing about this place is you are basically stuck in a room all day expect for occupational therapy and during visiting hours. you're also not allowed to have piercings so they make you take it out?? so hide them if you can 😳 the staff were nice though and I made alot of new friends. the food is also really good like it's beyond good. oh yeah o was here in the minor unit. it's also co-ed so you'll be with boys and girls although you're not really allowed to talk or be near the boys which is kind of dumb. but if y'all meet tji tji pronounced chi chi she's so cool y'all so be nice to her and also with raheem (actually don't know if that's how you spell so sorry in advance) . but they're the real ogs and are super cool.
Do not go here if your child is gay. It goes against their religious beliefs and they will not really help them.
Brett at the front desk is definately Awesome!
Been taking my kid there for almost 2 months, the Director, Glenn & Britney is the therapist, there are amazing!!!
Bret at the front desk was great. He was able to go the extra mile and get me the help I needed. Unfortunately many of us who are coming here are not always in the greatest mindset, and we cannot always get to the mindset we want fast enough. Many of the problems that we as patients have cannot be fixed overnight, but take time and hard work on our part to overcome and better deal with these problems. We often have to change lifelong thinking patterns and sometimes deal with issues that overpower us. We are the keys to our future and are therefore the most important part of our healing process. The doctors can give us therapy, medicine, and advice on how to improve ourselves, but we must actively work on using there advice and therapy to make a change in ourselves.
I went because i was self harming and have major depression disorder, the staff treated me okay, but the activies we did made me feel worse

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
