I will not ever recommend Cheryl Sanders to any women desiring care for their body or throughout their pregnancy. My experience with Cheryl Sanders was unfortunate and extremely off-putting. When she had first walked in, there was no introduction or explanation on what I should expect for my visit. I was originally told on the phone I was going to go through a women's wellness exam and came out of my appointment only with blood work. When I gave answers to her questions such as "What is the reasoning for your visit?" or "What led you to take a pregnancy test?", she gave condescending responses that made me feel unheard and outright stupid. When we first arrived, my husband and I had shared with the receptionist that I was experiencing cramping and would like to get an ultrasound. Later on in the appointment, instead of asking me directly about the cramping, Cheryl Sanders hinted at what the receptionist had told her, asking me "if there was anything else I wanted to bring up?". It all felt like a mind game or I was treated as though I was lying. When I went on to explain the cramping I experienced, I was point blank told by Sanders that "they don't do ultrasounds for little crampies". I left my appointment in tears feeling belittled and completely unheard. I ended up making an appointment with another provider the following week. She was astounded when I told her no ultrasound or formal check up had been done by Sanders. When she performed an ultrasound on me, I was told my baby had no heart beat. One of my first thoughts was "If Cheryl Sanders had done an ultrasound when I told her I was having cramps, I would have found out a week sooner that my baby had passed away." In the end, I am thankful to have had that information told to me by another doctor that made me feel safe and heard from the moment she walked in the room.I wish I could leave a better review for Cheryl Sanders but I wanted to be as honest as I can so this doesn't happen to another woman like me in the future.Thank you.

Doctor Sanders is the best OB/GYN I have ever been to in my entire life and I am in my 60s. She is very competent and on the ball. She is patient and kind and she is empathetic to my unique situation. I will never go to another OB/GYN in my life.
