Betty Ho's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Betty Ho has been my Gastroenterologist for about 15 years. I had multiple procedures with her at different medical facilities. She is a sensitive, caring, experienced, knowledgeable and a no nonsense doctor. I trust her and feel that I am in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Ho.

Dr. Ho has been my gastroenterologist for close to 20 years so I’m able to recommend her based on long term experience. Her competence as a GI specialist is unassailable, and her personality is that of a caring and personable doctor. Her relaxed and friendly demeanor has always put me at ease, especially when performing tests such as colonoscopies and endoscopies. Some years ago Dr. Ho encouraged me to make a life style change that possibly saved my life. Her gentle but firm way of speaking to me was a major factor in getting back on a healthier track. She’s A1 in my book, and I recommend her without reservation.

I have been seeing Dr. Ho for years and cannot be more pleased with her and her wonderful Administrative Assistant, Alba. They are compassionate, professional and just awesome. I had some problems recently and could not get in to see my primary. Dr. Ho took the time to see me and gave me a thorough examination and also some things she wanted me to do. Dr. Ho is one of those doctors who REALLY seems to care about her patients and Alba makes you so comfortable with getting an appointment and taking good care of you as well. What a team. I highly recommend this office to anyone who needs this type of specialist. I just can't say enough about the many years I have had the pleasure of being a patient. My family has a history of colon cancer on both sides so I am one of those who also needs colonoscopy every five years. Except for prep, the procedure experience is easy! Thank you Dr. Ho and Alba. You are special!!!

I was at Dr. Ho's office today for an upper endoscopy procedure. My experience today was very pleasant. From Dr. Ho to the staff, everyone is extremely nice and professional. I was very nervous before the procedure because i had never been sedated and some friends told me it's possible that i would have a sore throat and it would be painful when I eat. But the nurse Linda was very good, she made me feel at ease and she made the injection almost painless. The procedure was very quick as i was told, i still don't remember most of the stuff I had gone through after the IV. I just felt a little dizzy and sleepy after with no sore throat! The receptionist Alba is super nice, I've seen a lot of rude front desk persons at medical offices, but in Dr. Ho's office, I was treated with the best customer service. Because of my work schedule I had to reschedule my appointment a million times, but Alba was very helpful and patient with me. I really recommend Dr. Ho to everyone!

I have been seeing Dr. Ho for many years now. Although I have moved from the Bay area and live in Florida, I still wait until I I will be in CA to see Dr. Ho for gastroenterology. Her office is affiliated with a diagnostic service, so that she performs whatever probes are necessary right next door. The level of care, concern and professionalism that I find in her seems rare these days, which is why I wait until I travel 5,000 miles to get checked out. Alba in the front has been with her many years and she is also a wonderful person, extremely helpful. I highly recommend this office to anyone needing a good gastroenterologist who actually listens.

I've been having stomach issues lately and went to see Dr. Ho. She's very informative and was super attentive to my needs. She made me feel more at ease about possible causes of my symptoms. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a gastro specialist.
