David Goldenberg's Online Review Report Card

First of all I as a women have been seeing Dr. Goldenberg for years and have never experienced him being sexual in any way shape or form. Whoever left the last review is either a feminist looking to ruin a innocent mans reputation or somebody with a personal grudge. Dr. Goldenberg is very kind and knowledgeable and says it how it is. He doesn’t beat around the bush like other gastroenterologist that I’ve dealt with in the past and always gives you an honest answer. He is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve and truly wants to help his patients.

I saw Dr. Goldenberg as a patient in Urgent Care. Although he was knowledgeable, his language and demeanour were so inappropriate and unacceptable I asked my GP to refer me to another gastro specialist. This is 2023 and women should never have to endure inappropriate sexually natured comments and behaviours when under a physician’s care. Do not go to this doctor.

Goldenberg treated me for many years. By treated me I mean tried to push steroids on me at every turn, prevented me from seeing a surgeon, told me I would only get treated once I was done having children and then when that day came said he would treat me only IF I decided to have another child. What in earth is that all about I asked him? He didn’t have a reason. My husband and I looked at each other and agreed we would have another child and bingo, we got a referral to a surgeon. That surgeon fixed me and said I should never have had steroids as they would NOT have helped and in fact would have been bad for me after my surgery and shaped my life for the worse in the future. How this relic still has any clout in the medical world is beyond me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Goldenberg for many years and found him to be an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable. I agree with the comments that it will be a sad day when he retires.

No complaints here, Had a colonoscopy with Dr Goldenberg, answered all my questions in a clear and concise manner, I would not hesitate to consult with him again in the future,

My experience with Dr. Goldenberg over the last number of years have always been very professional and informative. He always addresses my questions and concerns whether it is in office or a phone appointments. Highly recommend.

Please do not go to Goldenberg if you are queer. He attributed my stomach issues to me being trans, despite recurring symptoms and a family history that leads otherwise. He made a face when I mentioned I was in a gay relationship and went into a rant about “transsexuals” after learning I was transgender. Completely disregarded all symptoms and made fun of me for taking them seriously. Worst experience at a doctor I’ve ever had.

I've been working with Dr Goldenberg for over 15 years. He's very knowledgable and straightforward. He recently performed an endoscopy on me which after much of my own anxiety turned out to be completely painless and very easy. I highly recommend him.

Showed up to an appointment that I’ve been waiting months for and the receptionist questioned it. I showed her the paper and she goes well he’s not here so I’m not sure apparently they rescheduled it and failed to notify me of the changes and couldn’t care less that I had to take time off work and find other arrangements for childcare What a waste of time.

One of the worst doctors I have ever seen. Wouldn’t listen, shushed me when I tried to speak. Completely ignored serious test results, told me there was nothing wrong with me, This all took an hour, after which he waved at me like he was swatting a fly, got up, told me there was nothing he could do and walked out of the room. I left feeling completely upset. Don’t waste your time going to see this pathetic excuse for a doctor.
