Another disappointing Stanford doctor. Rushes appointments. Tells you to do things for the next appointment, and doesn't send you reminders for them when appointment time arrives. Appointments are hard to get, which is the case across Stanford because I think their doctors only work part time.

I saw many doctors for worsening pelvic pain, leaving me unable to walk/move. They suspected Endometriosis but kept attributing my pain to constipation, or it was all in my head. Dr. Atashroo was the only one who listened. In a month, she started a treatment plan. I just had laparoscopy, with her, yesterday. She found endo behind my uterus, and it was all over it. Had male student in room conduct exam on me for NO reason--and DID NOT prepare me, did not state anything to effect he is going to perform an exam and exam was UNNECESSARY...IT WAS TO CONSULT ON A PROCEDURE NOT A PELVIC EXAM. Dr was rude, all over scheduling a procedure that I did not need....do you think she gets paid for performing this procedure?.....I felt awful after seeing this Dr Atasharoo...and do not recommend at all.
