List of Erica Wang's Reviews
Amazing Doctor excellent bedside manner the kids feel comfortable, always happy to go for check ups and sick visits!
Did not get the results I wanted, unfortunately. Not entirely the doctor's fault, but it would have been nice to work with one doctor instead of so many. Also, their billing and front desk are both very aggressive with patients. There was a nurse Gaby that did not know how to draw blood. I think maybe you can find a better clinic and one that is way more affordable.
Two weeks after an appt in August, I received the bill from Erica Wang's office. After confirming insurance and being reassured by phone staff that the bill would be reasonable with insurance (Cigna), a bill arrived for $932 for a half hour consult with Dr. Wang ($382 of it was for the facility fee). There were no tests or procedures, just discussion. I normally pay $50 for specialists visits. Do yourself a favor and ask what your cost will be out of pocket, to avoid surprises. Your other option at Dr. Wang's is to pay cash which was not mentioned during original scheduling. It is more profitable for them to bill insurance, as they can set their fees as high as they want, insurance pays their part and the patient is responsible for the remainder (which is at least double the cash price). Cost for a fertility consult is $375, yet they will make over $900 billing insurance for a PCOS consult. My insurance paid $280 of the $932. So the half hour visit will cost $650. In retrospect, I should have insisted on an out of pocket estimate and they should have told me about the cash option. Then the more affordable option could have been selected. If anything, my conversation with the supervisor regarding the bill (they wouldn't budge on the price) may lead to an improved experience for patients in the future. Medicine is getting more complicated all the time. Ask all the questions. Also, if you are going for a PCOS consult make sure you go at the right time of the month in case testing is needed. They never mentioned the importance of timing when scheduling and so an additional appt was required. Dr. Wang and nursing staff was competent but I believe one can find a knowledgable physician for less money. The administrative staff supervisor and the manager I spoke with were defensive players giving the company line with no flexibility. Sorry for the earful but I hope it saves you my headache.
Dr. Wang and her team are superheroes. Knowledgeable, communicative and supportive throughout the process. I am so happy we chose her and her office over the more "well known" doctors we were considering in the area. I really felt like she and her staff were on our team, and they may even be psychic, answering questions and anticipating concerns before we even asked. Highly recommend.
Dr. Wang is an amazing doctors. She cares so much about her patients. Her officer staff is amazing as well. They are so caring and they treat you like family. If your looking for a doctor please come to Dr. Wang actually takes the time to return your calls and emails the same day.
Dr Erica Wang...my kind of hero doctor...her medical treatment for PCOS and Infertility gave me my life and youth back...very attentive doctor who specializes in infertility treatment but goes above and beyond to establish a great treatment plan and diagnosis sculptured to each individual needs of care...as a part of my treatment plan I lost in a total of 6months a total of 20lbs just about to the year after being treated by her and staff I lost a total of 60lbs in a year...all due to the right medications designed for my specific care and diagnosis...Her staff - front office and nurses are super compassionate and definitely are very competent employees...very attentive staff...Love You all for giving me back that life I had lost and had given up...Great Office and Doctor...Highly recommend her to anyone seeking fertility treatment or GYN complications...
First time to Dr. Wang. She was great...she answered all my questions and took the time to make me feel comfortable and understand all my options. She also made proposals which made me feel knowledgeable.
Please read all reviews before making a decision about Dr. Wang. The negative reviews are all about the administrative employees, NOT Dr. Wang. Dr. Wang is fantastic; friendly, careful, intelligent, and sympathetic. I went through an IUI treatment with her and it was successful on the first attempt. I highly recommend her to anyone going through fertility challenges. (And in regards to the negativity to the office staff, yes, the financial aspect of fertility treatments can be confusing. I had a mix up or two but nothing that wasn't addressed in a timely matter. My advice is ask tons of questions in advance and do your part to contact your insurance about coverage and things will go smoothly.)
Avoid or be prepared to pay a very steep price - , while the dr-s are qualified and professional - the Admin Staff and Billing are completely in diss-array - , all the initial estimates of costs were completely under estimated and the billing discrepancies are too long to list - months of work on billing issues and miss allocated payments - and on top of it they will threaten credit reporting if you don't pay up on bills you never knew of or agreed on - , My suggestion seek out a more honest option - your wallet will thank you.
I had a horrible experience at the office. I reschedule an appointment to see Dr. Wang more than a month in advance. I took a whole morning off of work. I arrived at the office 30 minutes in advance as instructed. The secretary then tells me that they don't have me down in the books and that i will need to come back again in another month. This is after an hour of wait time. I spend 2 hours of my time for an appointment and had to pay $5 of parking. It was an utter disaster. The customer experience was awful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
