I've seen Dr. Joanna Badger twice and was impressed with her attentiveness, chair side manners and real care and friendliness to me and my conditions. Very detail oriented and gets to the bottom of it. Provides full examination of all dermatological problems and prescribes what she feels will work to get a relief and, possibly, a cure. Highly reccomend to anyone who've lost hope.

I have bee seeing Dr Badger for many years and highly recommend her. She is an exceptional practitioner very knowledgeable kind just absolutely accommodating. Very available if there's questions or concerns.

Dr. Badger saw me after nearly 3 years of a painful condition my gynecologist could not successfully treat. It took lots of paperwork from my HMO to get OK'd to see her. She is the lone expert in genital dermatology in California. I am so grateful for her expertise in my problem and have experienced major progress in its healing. I drive 2 hours to get to see her and it is truly worth it. As noted below, I was late once due to traffic and arrived 20 minutes late. The receptionist also told me to reschedule, but I insisted they ask the doctor. She came out to see me, brought me in and said she'd always make time to see me. She said her receptionists are too protective of her time. She has followed up on phone calls more than once. She is always kind and thoughtful and is highly regarded nationwide. And I agree with another comment, yes, she has a sense of humor! My hometown dermatologist remarked about seeing her present at a medical conference and every doctor in attendance raved about her. I was lucky to get in to see her and it was worth the wait. I highly recommend her.

My first appointment with Dr. Badger was great she was professional, answered all my questions and even took the time to personally follow up with a phone call. It did take 2 months to be able to get in. However my experience yesterday was a different story, I took the day off work since I have to travel 60 miles or so to see her, gave myself 2 hr window commute. An unexpected accident on highway 17 set me back on time, I called the office to explain I would be late but I was told they would only wait 15 min otherwise I would need to reschedule. Despite driving as fast as I could I arrived 30 min late checked in with the receptionist explained why I was late and she said she would need to check with the dr, that it was up to her. She came back and said the dr couldn't see me that I would need to reschedule I asked if I could perhaps wait (since i took the day off) and see if another pt was late or didn't show up and she could then see me but was told I could wait but could not guaranteed I would be seen. Next available opening for me NOVEMBER!!!!! Will I be going back? NO I've worked in the medical field myself and we always made accommodations for those patients traveling from a distance that had unexpected delays because of an accident on the road. But I guess not all practices are the same!

I've been seeing Dr. Badger for about 2 years regarding a very specific and stubborn issue that neither my regular dermatologist nor gynecologist could resolve. Apparently, this is a common problem for women "of a certain age" and on my very first visit, I was immediately diagnosed and relieved of some of the symptoms. Hallelujah! I find her compassionate, focused, and extremely patient. One of the best and most caring doctors I've encountered.

Zero stars for dr badger, I only hope this saves any other women wasting their time with this hackMy wife went to see dr badger last year, she had stopped taking BC pills and presented classic symptoms of low estrogen as a rebound.. dr badger being an Expert refused to listen to a Little Persons foolish suggestion and refused to test her estradiol levels, a $20 test at most, but had no other answers.My wife saw this quack a few more times after this and every single time she refused to test her estrogen, as Dr Knows Best despite me giving my wife pages of studies showing the direct correlation between all her symptoms and low estrogen Eventually, growing tired of this nonsense we had a private labs test her estrogen ... and lo and behold she has very low estrogen. Back on the BC pills to get it back to normal and the symptoms vanish.An absolute waste of time, bordering on criminal arrogance to refuse an insured patient a cheap and basic test because they suggested it themselves and it doesn't fit into your preconceived treatment plan (whatever that was)

Very bad bedside manner and took very little interest in my alignment. She said she didn't know what was wrong and offer no suggestions on what to do. She was one of the worst doctors I've seen.

I have been seeing Dr. Badger for my annual dermatology checkups for four or five years. Without fail, she is patient, answers all of my (often many) questions, and actually seems to have a great sense of humor. I'd recommend her to anyone.
