This post is long over due. April 2020, I got into a bad mountain biking accident. Went over the bars with my bike and smashed my head and shoulder into the hard packed dirt. The first referred orthopedic surgeon was inept and still hasn’t checked in with me to this day! After talking with another Stanford orthopedic surgeon, he recommended Dr. Bishop. Since my clavicle break was a bit more on the rarer side. SC Joint ( sternoclavicular joint) the collarbone broke off closer to the sternum. After meeting him, I immediately felt confident with him. His professional demeanor, calmness, and not to mention knowledge on the procedure made me feel at ease. He explained thoroughly how it would go down and what to expect. I had 2 surgeries with him. One to repair the clavicle and anchor it with I believe a titanium plate, which I had in me for 3 months. The second one to remove it. He cleared me to resume all normal activities in Nov 2020. If it wasn’t for him and his team, I wouldn’t be back to normal as I am now. Thank you Dr. Bishop and team for your amazing work!

Best doctor ever I had bad spiral fracture from throwing a baseball in a game.. along with radial nerve palsy was sent to bishop and I swear it was the best thing for my arm and very thankful to have such a great surgeon fix my arm.. I couldn't have thanked him enough!! He cut around all my tattoos which was the best none of my art work was messed up from my scar bishop you're the best hands down!!

His staff is inept. Repeated requests for PT after my second surgery have never been ordered. Well over a month now.
