Another “billable hours” doctor. Injections spinal cord stimulators and methadone. Nothing new. Same old garbage that they can bill for. That’s all that matters in medicine especially pain med. No one cares anymore about chronic pain especially the current iteration of pain management. The new motto of modern pain management “you have pain... great.... now go home and manage it”. All these docs care about are opioids. If you’re on them then the only thing they care about is getting you off them.... if you’re not on them then all they care about is keeping you off them. Forget about whats best for the individual. It’s all checklist now folks. Medicine by edict or fiat from on high.... chronic pain patients have been killing themselves due to lack of care... thanks to the feckless cdc... Pain management is a dead field.... you’re on your own.....
