Dr Merla has treated my sister for lung cancer. He is an excellent physician with compassion. My sister was able to live with metastatic cancer for 5 years. Highly recommend him

Never had DVT PE before, Dr Merla couldn't give me a straight answer why I have it in the first place. Especially when I have no history of it or family history of it? Not a smoker or drinker, don't hang around smokers or drinkers. The world lacks in compassionate doctors.

Had a PET scan for lymphoma treatment. PET scan showed spot on my lung -- meaning either cancer or infection -- Dr. Merla said it was only an infection and did nothing. After a year of treatment by Dr. Merla for lymphoma I got a second opinion by a very conscientious doctor and found out that the spot was 2nd stage lung cancer. Dr. Merla is not proactive or aggressive in the treatment of cancer.
