I had to wait about a month to see Dr. Rivello but I feel like that's just how things are with healthcare nowadays. He was kind, and took time to listen to the issues I've been having with my ankle. Overall, my experience with him was great.

My PCP referred me to Dr. Rivello in early May, 2023. I called his office and got an appointment to see Dr. Rivello for Aug 14, 2023. That equates to over a 3 month wait time to see the doctor. Yesterday, (Aug 9, 2023) i get a call from his office stating that Dr. Rivello decided to take a vacation and I will need to re-schedule my appointment.. I said 'O.K. when can i see him.. receptionist said the earliest i can get you in to see him is Nov 20th 2023.. I said that's not acceptable, that totals over 6 months of wait time to see this doctor.. She said, "sorry you can always try calling another Doctor, is there anything else i can help you with".. WOW,, this just blew me away.. Obviously i would not want anything to do with a doctor that has no care in the world for their Patients especially when they are dealing with uncomfortable pain.. I then called Dr. Gross in Ridgecrest, ,told the receptions my experience with Dr. Rivello and she managed to schedule me to see Dr. Gross for Aug 21, 2023.. (less than two week wait..

Started out nice but got more money for amputation since he doesn't get back to his patient's care giver then belittles them, would NOT recommend him ever again or his phony attitude

Nice enough, but couldn't help me. This was my first appointment with Dr. Rivello, for pain that had come on suddenly. The operator that called to confirm my appointment failed to tell me that he was located in a different building than she was calling from. So, after some additional walking and an extra couple flights of stairs I found his offices. I brought with me the xrays that had been taken from an urgent care visit. He basically told me that the pain is from my foot structure, although I never saw him look at my xrays. Said that an orthotic may help, but he doesn't do orthotics. Gave me a couple of references to other doctors and sent me on my way. I would consider whether you want a Podiatrist that can offer more comprehensive treatment options before going to see Dr. Rivello.
