Most disgusting experience! Lack of compassion, dismissive and unprofessional. If you are ever scheduled with him, CANCEL and ask for someone else. my rating would actually be -10 stars!!

I would NEVER recommend this guy. My husband had a heart attack on June 28. We were sent to Dr. (and I use the term loosely) Schatz for a follow up. He listened to my husbands heart, and then sat down, and asked if we had questions. We asked a couple, and then he said, "So, are we done here?" I said that I had more questions, and he told me I could only ask a couple, because he had to leave. We were the last patients for the day, so I'm not sure if he had a date or what. He was terrible!!!

Dr Schatz offended me with his abrupt manner, his minimalization of my complaint, and his responses to whatever I said. When I asked him why he was being abrasive towards me he became angrily defensive and called in an assistant as a witness. Perhaps he was angry when he entered the treatment room or I, at the onset reminded him of someone he disliked. In any case, this is not a professional I would trust to put his patients needs first.

I am caring for my father who is 83 and just had open heart surgery. His appointment was for 10:30 we arrived at 10:15. We were left waiting for over an hour. When we asked the front office staff how much longer and what the reason was for the delay...they said the file is with the tech and you just have to wait. Upon sitting down they continued to talk about my father in Spanish knowing we could not understand and we continued to wait. Dr. Schatz, not much bed side matter but I'm not having him for dinner. He seems to be ok, but very short and quick with his time. Better be quick with your questions. We are looking for another Doctor!
