Dr. Mahmoud is no expert in communication. Be prepared to ask a lot of questions. He asked me how I was, looked at a previous surgical site, said I was fine and did not need to be there. He then walked out with out giving me any information as to what he meant by me being “fine” or giving me chance to ask questions. I had to ask the staff to bring him back in to the room to clarify. I was there for another surgery after recovering from my 1st one which he was not aware of bc he failed to ask any questions or perhaps review with his staff on which I explained.

Dr.Mahmoud is great. I loved his bedside manner at the hospital and coming in for my post op appt. He was very informative and discussed my surgery with me. He is a sweet Dr... If I need a surgery I'm going with Dr. Mahmoud.... Thank you.

Dr.Mahmoud is highly recommended by me. I personally will refer my family and friends. His back office staff complimented him also and that tells me he’s good to them. Also the nurses at the Riverside Community Hospital spoke highly of him and hearing that right before my surgery made me feel even more comfortable and at ease.

Dr Mahmoud saved my life after a car accident in 2017 ct scan we’re showing nothing was wrong but blood work was off the charts I could feel lots of pain in my stomach and no amount of pain meds were working he kept coming in to check on me and seen I was not comfortable and had an urge to go #2 but couldn’t he made the decision to open me up to find out a piece of my intestine had died and removed that piece and I had to have an osteomy I had 3 hours or I would have died thank you so much from the bottom of my heart

Not enough communication. Dr. needs to establish daily periods during day informing family members by phone or e-mail of treatment plan while they are hospitalized. Especially if a patient has a mental illness, family member has a medical directive making decisions and power of attorney rights.
