Alonso Ojeda's Online Review Report Card

I took my daughter to him because she revealed to me that she had a miscarriage about 5 months ago, but was scared to tell me about it. Her primary care doctor told us that she needs to see an OBGYN. He asked her if she had it then, then why is she only just now coming in. She told him that she was scared to tell anyone, but finally worked up the courage to say something. She also told him that she has been her periods have been much more painful since the miscarriage and something else that was too sensitive to put in here. He told her very sternly “you need a therapist. I’m not going to do anything for you”. I cannot believe how insensitive and disrespectful this doctor is to someone experiencing something traumatic and difficult. I strongly recommend staying away from this doctor. Complaining won’t do any good because the office manager is his wife and she will always side with him.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am posting from my husband’s account but I visited for the 1st time for a miscarriage and was treated awfully. The staff up front were great. Ojeda, not so much. He was in the room all of 3-4 min. and didn’t even proceed to do his job. He was reluctant to take ultrasound and verify a miscarriage and was very rough. Without warning he jammed the ultrasound tool, into my private area and was so rough. After verifying that there was indeed a miscarriage that had taken place, he froze the screen and set it in front of me to prove a point. How callus! The poor nurse that was inside could tell I was uncomfortable and don’t speak up when he was in the room. In the moment, I was bothered by that as well until it dawned on me, she was afraid to speak up, this is her job. Very quietly, she stood in the corner of the room with her head down. Ladies, I would not recommend this doctor even to my worst enemy. No one deserves this poor of treatment to our lady parts. I am also reporting him to the board. He must be stopped! There are too many reviews that are the same as mine.

I am a nurse so my standards of practice are very high, perhaps too high. Women's health however, is not my specialty. So when I ran into trouble with my 1st pregnancy at 34 years old, I was afraid and clueless. Dr Ojeda, his staff, and wife became like family to me through bedrest and frequent office visits. I appreciated his professionalism, dry humor, and calm affect. He never made me feel foolish for running to the hospital when my contractions would pick back up on a Saturday night, but simply supported me. I never felt his treatment was a money grab so I subsequently went to him with all 4 of my pregnancies. If it were not for my distance from the office, he would continue to be my GYN provider.

Abrupt. No warning before he was inside me. "Scoot down" was the warning. Rushed. Detached.

Very personable and friendly. Met him 28 years ago when referred by a lactation nurse in OC.

I was very happy with Dr. Ojeda's staff and the doctor. The staff was welcoming and efficient. Dr. Ojeda was knowledgeable and kind. I recommend him highly.

When I moved to Riverside 20 years ago, one of the things I missed was my Rancho Cucamonga OBGYN. I would drive to see him until he retired. In the past 20 years, I have been to several doctors for my visits. I was a little nervous about Dr. Ojeda. ***I HAVE FOUND MY OBGYN IN RIVERSIDE !*** Thorough, friendly, answered all of my questions and what a wonderful bedside manner. I guess the word is gentle.

Staff was extremely rude, called me demanding when I nicely asked for a test bc of ovary pain. Then they sent a letter saying everything was normal but it wasn't, the test couldn't even find my ovary and recommended another test and they never told me! BEWARE!!!

Incredibly rude staff, will never return! Claimed I was "demanding" when I simply asked for a test due to ovary pain. They did the test and told me it was normal, IT WAS NOT, IT RECOMENDED FURTHER TESTING AND SAID IT COULDN'T EVEN SEE MY OVARY!!! BEWARE!!!!!!

He is a great doctor. Helped with my problem. Answered all my questions.
