List of Bret Powers's Reviews
Two years ago it turned out that I had a damaged knee meniscus and had to be operated on. I came to doctor Powers who, after a thorough diagnosis, performed an arthroscopy of my knee. Initially, I had problems returning to normal function, but I gave myself time and after 6 months everything was back to normal. I work in the garden, install pavers and play pin-pong with my family. I highly recommend. Adam_K.
Dr. Power is absolutely AMAZING. An mri showed that my 18 yr old son had a torn Meniscus, but with a very throughout exam from Dr. Powers, he proved the MRI very very wrong. My son was diagnosed with a odd condition that only 50% of the population have. Surgery was performed January 2020 (yes it sucked not to be with my son during recovery because of covid restrictions). All post op appts by Dr. Powers were excellent. However, a nurse forgot to remove one stitch from my son's knee. And front desk staff gave me a hard time going back with my son for the first consultation appt because of covid restrictions (my son's appt was the day after he turned 18). It's also not easy getting through to the office when calling. In my opinion it's the doctor that matters the most when it comes to our orthopedic health. Dr. Powers also has excellent bedside manners and excellent advice for my son for his continued athletic training and sports. Seven months after my son's surgery, he still can be physically active with no pain.
He examined me and had X-rays taken and said he would order a hip injection for me. That was 11 days ago and he did not do the paper work for the injection. His staff hangs up when I phone. I am in a lot of pain. This person has abandoned me and refuses to communicate.
I have been tried to contact with this ofice several times, to get my PRESCRIPCION refill with negative results. When you call to the Number showed, this Number puts you in other number. If you are lucky, a machine will answer you to let you know: "live a mesage and we will call you later". If you are not lucky, the machine will tell you remain on the line, till somebody is going to help you. Again if you are lucky, somebody is going to help you, if you are not, after wait around 30 minutes, the line just hang out. By the way, I am still waitting!
Dr. Powers was attentive. He kept a close eye on my broken foot and toe. I previously had a knee surgery by him which was treated the same. He is also punctual which is very important to me, as a business owner, I don’t have time to wait hours to see a specialist.
Terrible! Made you wait for 2 hours and the receptionist wasn't so nice or helpful. Had to hold pee that long for a drug test. How rude!
Ok, there was a long wait before I seen him. It took 2 months from my appointment date. Now was he effective and personal very much so. It was all worth it to me. I have seen some Orthopedic doctor's in my time. A good one is hard to come by. I felt comfortable and heard by Dr. Powers. We will see what's next.
This doctor can NOT deliver what he suggests and/or recommends, espically if you're trying to get a PRP injection. I waited more than 5 months and his clinic every month gave me a diffident excuse that the injection was not ready (blaming it on Admin paper works & vendor). On my visitations every time I waited around 2 hours to see him, even when I had appointments. He works at class D type of clinics. He can talk and give you a good speech, but his clinic can not deliver what they promise.
Dr. Bret Powers is now at 4234 Riverwalk PKWY Suite 200, Riverside, CA. He has excellent experience, he has written articles for reputable journals, he gets great reviews. He is recognized especially for his excellence in "bedside manner", compassion, and follow up...all which are important in a professional doctor. He is just an all around great guy and is really easy to talk to. I can't say enough great things about him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
