To all new patients who are considering this place or Dr. McGrew for there eye care needs....Don't bother calling this place to schedule an appointment, if you are not a current patient they won't even take your call.Tried several days to get through to schedule a new patient appointment, because I was referred to this doctor. But unfortunately, they have an answering service to screen all incoming calls. If you are not a returning patient, they turn you away and they tell you to just call back, only to be told the same thing again. Total waste of time.

Great staff and great doctor!! He really listens to you and explains what’s going on. I absolutely recommend.

Dr. McGrew is a very competent oftmalogist doctor. He is my doctor and I liked very much. I trust on him.

Dr. McGrew did my cataract surgery, went perfectly, I was treated respectfully, I couldn't ask for anything better!

Their website has two email addresses. One address seems out of commission. The other email address apparently does not respond to emails. What is the point of listing those two email addresses? The front desk workers shrug it off when you inquire about a nonresponse to your email. And the front desk persons are not that familiar with what the professional doctors there can do or cannot do.Also, I realized after my appointment that their Ophthalmology services is GENERAL. Which means, if you already have seen an Ophthalmologist in the past and already know what eye condition you have, you are better off finding a specialized Ophthalmologist who actually specialize or work a often with others that have similar conditions to yours.They do list and carry a seemingly impressive host of test equipment that claims to be able to detect what is wrong with your eyes but it ends there with the doctor confirming the machines' reading results.My visit today was run-of-the-mill. They eventually had to refer me to someone else in San Bernardino and that is almost 3 months down the calendar. Sigh. My eyes are now dilated from their drops and I will probably have to get my pupils dilated again in approximately 3 months time with someone else. That bothers me.Dr. McGrew's website claims to make people feel special. He appeared as distant and I did shower/brush teeth beforehand. :)
