Very friendly staff

They never answer the phones! I was waiting for 45 mins one day and I finally am fed up! I put a complaint through my insurance because I have a chalazion on my eye that needs to removed and they don’t answer to make an appointment. Honestly get a better phone system or new staff that know how to answer phones. The first time I called to make an appointment I pressed the extension for the surgery scheduler and she booked me and gave me an excuse that “they were short staffed”. When I went into my first appointment the phone was ringing and they were answering. At this point I will take my business else where with more professionalism.

They DONT ANSWER THE PHONES AND I CALL AT DIFFERENT DAYS AND TIMES AND IVE BEEN TRYING FOR OVER 3 WEEKS AND I DONT LIVE CLOSE ENOUGH TO GO PERSONALLY, AND THE LAST TIME I DID, THE GIRL IN FRONT WAS HELLA ATTITUDIE, IT was like I was Bothering her. My insurance directs me here so I have no choice right now. Even as I'm writing I am still on hold for almost 20 minutes and NOTHING!!!!!

Unprofessional practice, the manger Erika can’t handle the place and the office cordinator lily isn’t professional and have personal issues. I hope there is an email or other way I can contact the doctor as they refused to do so

Does Dr. Macias ever see the comments here regarding his staff not doing their job??? I've been trying to get a hold of him to schedule for an appointment for my grandma who is way overdue her eye exam and has not been able to take her glaucoma meds for more than a month now because I am always on hold forever! I call more than 5 times in a day and would wait for more than 30 minutes to no avail. How do I sue this place????

HORRIBLE STAFF. Zero stars! Waited over 3 hours for my appointment just to be brushed off when asked why other people were going ahead of me. Then I had a follow up that the staff was suppose to request an authorization from my insurance. I was told to call back in 2 weeks, so I did. Just to be told no one sent my request and call back in another 2 weeks. So here I am on hold over 30 minutes...waiting for one of you incompetent, rude, unprofessional "M.A.s" to answer the phone

Excellent doctor, knowledgeable, caring.

Over an hour wait at 9:15AM. By the time I left it was about 2 hours plus spent at the office. Doctor time was maybe 10 minutes and 20 minutes for eyes to dilate.

Worst appointment ever! I had a 9:15 appointment. Office was running over an hour behind. Other patients were also complaining about the very long wait at such an early hour in the day. Waiting room is cramped with 20 chairs in a small area. It was close to 11:30 when I finally got out of there. Doctor's exam was maybe 10 minutes at most. They wanted to schedule me for more test. I told them how bad the visit was and I would never be back.

I went in to see Dr. Macias he told me I needed cataract surgery I was 49 at the time and I believed what he said I should've went and got a second opinion so I proceed to have it done and he never discussed anything with me what kind of lens he was going to put in I could see distance just fine and I did wear reading glass after my surgery I have not seen the same I can't drive at night I have to wear reading glasses still and he tells me after wen I called and went in about 5 times cause I knew something was not right with Mayeye I have Gleri spots in Mayeye it's been a year it has not gotten better if anything it's gotten worse and now I have extreme dry eye so he basically took my distance vision away from me and did nothing for me to help my situation I have seen three other doctors including an neuro ophthalmologist and still can't get my eye back to normal I was told by one doctor I could have waited 20 years to have that done and this doctor obviously was money hungry he ruined my vision for life I do not recommend anyone going to see him my friend is a nurse and works at the surgery center that he works at and he does way too many cataract surgeries in a very short time he does not spend any time with you to explain anything I was told by one of the nurses that I was way too young to be having that surgery but it was too late I was already hooked up and ready to go so in closing I'm very unhappy with the outcome if I could have sued him I would've he ruined my life
