I just went through breast cancer Dr lara and his staff was amazing caring I put my life in his hands and thanks to him and his team iam alive he's a wonderful caring doctor who cares for his patience thank you Dr lara ❤️

I am quite upset about the lack of competence exhibited by the office staff at this clinic. I called and spoke to Gabriella at first who was non too polite telling me that they had not received my doctor's referral. I called my doctor again to find out that it had already been faxed and would be faxed again. When I called once more I spoke to Melissa who had a hard time finding the referral. Melissa then explained that I would have to go in person the radiologist to get a disk with my images. I asked why they could not make a direct request and she did not explain and just said, very rudely, that I would not be seen if I did not have the disk with the images. There was not enough time for me to go to the radiologist have my request authorized and then pick up the disk in the 5 days Melissa had scheduled for the appointment. However, the radiologist said if a request came from Dr. Lara's office they could mail the disk directly the same day. But Dr. Lara refused to allow that.

What a joke! First of all Dr.Lara storms in irritated because we brought in several different test showing my wife has vascular disease. " what are all these test for!". He's so irate when he asks the nurse to grab him some machine she fumbles all over the room to find it .(man he had her shook up!) Then he goes on to say you had two DVT! I'm in the same boat as you ! I CAN'T HELP YOU! As he runs out of the room clicking his heels !

Dr. Lara and his staff are amazing. I had to have my gallbladder removed. Initial consult Dr. Lara took time to explain surgery, drew diagrams to aid in education and answered all my questions. His medical assistant and staff were extremely helpful and available. The surgery was performed outpatient at Riverside Community Hospital. The staff there were professional, competent and friendly. Surgery went well with no complications as expected with such an experienced surgeon. I did a lot of research and had consults with 2 other surgeons and Dr. Lara was hands down the perfect surgeon to take care of me. Highly recommend Dr. Lara.

Dr Lara has operated on me twice and both times I’ve have been very happy with the results. He’s an excellent Dr. and very attentive the patient, at least with this patient he was. I would recommend him!

First visit was fine, didn't have to wait too long and everyone seemed friendly and helpful. Dr said to make son's surgery appt for Fri afternoon at 4 pm so he'd have the weekend to recover before going back to college classes. Well, the Thurs before, they called and left a message on the house phone (not the number we gave them to contact us on) saying to call cuz it was urgent - could've said we need to reschedule but didn't. I was not home and didn't get the message til the office was closed (after 5) and their answering service said to call back during business hours. The next morning before I could call in, they called to say the Dr wouldn't be available that Fri afternoon and could we do it Monday. When I asked about another Friday, the receptionist said 'he doesn't do surgeries on Fridays', so I told her we had discussed it with the Dr and HE told us he'd do it on a Friday. He's the one who said 'late Friday afternoon' to the nurse in the room with us at the time.So we go ahead with Monday to get it done though this means my son will now possibly miss some classes, and then they tell us, after we've waited 45 minutes for what was supposed to be a 4 pm appointment, that the Dr's running late cuz of a walk-in that needed something removed - which is why we're there in the first place! to have something removed! Pretty crappy customer service from front office, though Dr Lara himself seems nice enough...

By far the best doctor I have ever been under the care of. He takes the time to truly find the cause of what issues are going on and he and his assistant are the most kind and caring people I have encountered in the medical field. I would recommend this doctor to anyone who has issues and needs surgery in regards to what he specializes in. Thank you so much Dr. Lara and Theresa for always treating me like a human being and actually caring about your patients. I have been in and out of the hospital for the last 15 years with surgeries and encountered way too many doctors who are only there for a paycheck but once I found Dr. Lara my issues have been taken care of and he has me on the right track to getting rid of the issues completely now. God bless you and your families Dr and Theresa! Seriously you guys have no idea how grateful I am for you guys. Keep up the awesome work.

I was referred to this office by my general provider. I was blown away by the amazing patient service I received from Misty! She went above-and-beyond during my visit. I explained some urgency due to a family emergency, and she was able to schedule me within the week for my surgery! Her follow through with my pre-op info was incredible! I would highly recommend this place due to the clean office and great personnel!

Dr Lara is the doctor that performed the surgery on me to remove my gallbladder. I feel that he is very good at his profession, everything went right on time as planed, and they keep you very informed on your situation. he is the kind of doctor i would take my parents or my children to see if needed at any point in our lives. Thank you Dr Lara.

After dealing with several doctors for over 13 months trying to get a painful lipoma removed from my back, I was referred by my primary doctor, Joseph Schneider to Dr. Lara. I got an appointment within 10 days and when I met with him, he was professional and took time to listen to me. He told me there was no problem doing the surgery, especially if it was causing pain. My surgery was scheduled within two weeks and had no problems. He was very informative and told me everything that was going to take place during the surgery. I didn't feel like I was just another number. His office staff were very friendly and the wait times were not more than 20 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Lara.
