Dr. Erik Wahlstrom is a great doctor and surgeon, my name is Carolyn F. Micucci in 1990 I found out I had Polycystic Kidney Disease I was 43 years old. I was on dialysis for 4years, I was recommended to Dr. Wahlstrom when he was Head of the Transplant department at Loma Linda Hospital. In 1994 I received a kidney from an 18year old boy who died in a car accident. Dr. Wahlstrom was so very kind and a great human being and Doctor, on Thanksgiving Day 2020 I still have my kidney transplant, it will be 26 years. I always think of you when the holiday comes around. Thank You, Dr. Erik Wahlstrom,MD

When other doctors wouldn't touch my brother, didn't know how to help him or didn't have an optimistic outcome for him, and it happened multiple times, Dr Erik Wahlstrom always came to the rescue. He performed his kidney and pancreas transplants and saved his life countless times in the past 20 years. Forever grateful!

I have worked as a nurse for over twenty years, In that time there are three doctors that I trust with my own life. Dr Wahlstrom is one of these doctors. He is extremely professional, has a great bedside manner and he really cares. His infection control practices are impressive. I have seen other doctors go in and out of patients rooms and never even wash their hands. Dr Wahlstrom never skipped a step of wearing the mask, gown and gloves when he visited my family members room. His clinical judgement is amazing. I have been to many office visits and he is always in a bright and positive mood. If I was in need of his expertise I would not hesitate to let him operate on me. HE IS THE BEST IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!!

The W. performed my transplant after a really short time listed. He has been all kinds of caring for my health since, and in the 42 years of being a patient he is the ONLY md who has been able to DO something to help out my life situation. Thanks so much Dr Wahlstrom.

IF DR.W DIDNT STEP UP AND TAKE MY VERY COMPLICATED,NOT POSSIBLE, NEVER GONNA HAPPEN CASE. (THOSE WORDS WERE ACCORDING TO DRS AT, LOMA LINDA HOSPITA,UCLA HARBOR AND UCLA MED CENTER W. HOLLYWOOD)I WOULD NOT B HERE WRITING THIS TODAY. I MET HIM IN SPRING 2005 WHEN I WAS VERY CLOSE TO DEATH. TODAY, I HAVE A GREAT WORKING KIDNEY THAT HE SPENT MORE THAN 12 HRS IN SURGERY TRANSPLANTING.IF U WANT A BETTER CHANCEAT A LONG LIFE I SUGGEST U MAKE AN APPT. AND VISIT DR.W

Dr Walstrom is very professional and an absolute awesome doctor. He is completely compassionate about his job and patients. He preformed a kidney transplant on my 73yr old mom, even with the recent mishap on his patient in July, I would highly recommend and trust Dr. Walstrom
