Harold Jackson's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient at Orangecrest for over 9 years now. Since 2020, I have had a barrage of symptoms. When Dr Curtis left the practice, I saw several NP and PA’s. The office manager here at one point forced me out stating they do not accept Exclusive Care insurance since I was changed over to Dr Sinder not by choice. When I called Exclusive Care, I was informed this clinic and Dr Jackson DO ACCEPT my insurer. Since returning, they have continued to try to make me pay a copay when I have dual coverage of Exclusive Care and IRHP. They told me to call IEHP and that exclusive care was NOT listed by them as my primary insurance. When I called IEHP and Medi-Cal, they stated that as untrue. On April 26, I went to see Dr Jackson and had explained to the nurse who took vital my frustrations. He walked in and right away said,” I don’t have time for you today!” He told me nothing was wrong with me and that he believed I needed professional counseling. I asked him, are you saying I am mentally ill? I work as a MH professional and I think coworkers would have noticed. I stated again, I am that nothing was wrong. My labs had shown elevated levels, MRI scans showed changes in other certain organs that correlates to the elevated blood labs and other specialist have seen and diagnosed conditions that were confirmed by their procedures. Yet, he told me I needed mental health. When I had told him I had a fever for three days he stated I was wearing too many blankets at night and other very dismissive comments were made. I felt mortified and hurt by his comments. He also said I think you just don’t want to work! As his office already had me out on FMLA for the problems. Clearly, his bedside manner could use some work.

A senior practitioner Dr Jackson has been position for many many years this is evident in his bedside manner and skill as a physician I’ve been in this industry for 35 years and Dr Jackson is exactly the kind of primary care physician you were taking care of you

I have been seeing Dr. Jackson for almost 20 years and am sorry I have neglected until now to show my appreciation for the always considerate, always kind, always patient and always knowledgable attention he gives to the care of my health. Put simply, he really cares! Perhaps not surprisingly, his staff also provides the same exceptional level of kindness, attentiveness and professionalism. Im very grateful to count myself as one of Dr. Jacksons patients.
