Had the displeasure of having him review my hospital records when I was hospitalized at Rancho Springs for my heart beating too fast. The first thing he said when he walked in my room was, "What's a young girl like you doing having a heart attack?" When I asked, "Did I really have a heart attack," he didn't give me a direct answer. I'm a 20 year old female in great health so I was so confused. He also kept questioning me about drug use, asking if I had been on drugs. When I replied no, he told me, "The last person you should be lying to is your doctor." I told him I wasn't lying and that I was also in nursing school and I get drug tested to which he replied, "that doesn't matter." Also, my hospital record showed my toxicology report which came back negative for everything, and he was literally holding it. Overall, Dr. Amin has poor bedside manner, a lack of empathy for others, and will degrade patients rather than actually help them. It took 3 months of constant anxiety attacks over him telling me I had a "heart attack" for an ACTUAL doctor with a brain to tell me I was just extremely dehydrated and that's why my heart went crazy. Thanks Dr. Amin.
