Dr King as been my doctor for 17 years. Always patient and kind. I wish more doctors took the time with their patients as he does. Dr King answers all questions big or small. He is an asset to RMC!

Today I called Dr. Kings office because I just found out that I am pregnant and am on an extended vacation to visit my parents. I contacted Dr. Kings office in the hope to find a doctor that would be willing to closely monitor me at the early pregnancy stages as I have had three prior ectopic (tubal) pregnancies. I called the office and explained my situation to the receptionist in regard to how another doctor here in the local area flat out refused to see me until I was 6-8 weeks and it was surprising to me because all four prior doctors that treated me strongly advised me that I be closely monitored right from the beginning to minimize the risk of a tubal rupture.In a very demeaning tone of voice the receptionist tells me "Dr. King can go ahead and see you, but he is the doctor and will make the EDUCATED decision about what is necessary." A word of advice... unless you have had to terminate three of your own pregnancies for an urgent medical reason, do not lecture me on what is and what is not medically necessary. I have had four doctors give me the same medical advice so it is clear to me that you do not fully understand the severity of a tubal pregnancy to not understand my concern of not having a doctor in the local area to monitor me.I am certain if I had gotten the chance to speak with this doctor, he would have advised the same. However, I am not interested in dealing with the demeaning staff of this practice. I would rather make the 12 hour trip back to my doctor's office with a kind and professional staff. My practice that within the same day had my labs ordered and back to me because their staff does not act as a gatekeeper to the medical provider and let's them make the "educated medical decision"

Well, my review is about 28 years late in being done. He delivered my son 28 years ago, I had decided to look him up and saw this. I will never forget Dr King, hes the best!

I saw Dr King for prenatal care when i was pregnant with my first child. I really liked him and felt that I could trust him. He spends time going over things with his patients, good listener with great deal of experience, and is a very nice, so is his staff. I highly recommend him

Sometimes the wait is long but at every visit he seems to listen and answer all my questions. I never feel rushed or feel that he is in a hurry to get out of room as some drs are. I am about to give birth to my second child using dr king and I believe he is one of the best drs I have ever come in contact with. He is worth the wait
