Last time I saw him he was almost 4 hours late for an x-ray that he had to do at Jackson Hospital. All he did was mess up my leg & he has never send the x-rays to my doctor. I went to him trusting him that he was a good doctor. He is NOT! Would never go to him again! Beware!

Haven't even had a chance to see him, the person scheduling decided to delete my appointment or just never bothered to enter it and the next available is another month out after waiting a month for this one. They made no attempt to rectify the situation at all.

Dr. Portwood was my surgeon for my shattered elbow . He did a great job.

Dr Portwood did my knee replacements in 2007. He did the first one than the second. Best decision I’ve ever made. I’m now 82 and I walk 2 miles a day. I move easily without pain. Thank you Dr Portwood for helping me keep active.

Have been seeing him for more than 10 yrs. Had total knee replacement in both knees. Excellent care, explains everything, answers any questions I have always felt very comfortable with him taking care of me. Highly recommend him.

The office staff arranged for my appointment that I made with Dr. Portwood with the other doctor who shares the suite with him , without even notifying me. Per the office supervisor,"the doctors do the same thing". Would not allow me to see Dr. Portwood for the appt. time I was scheduled for.Sorry to say,never did see the doctor but if his office personnel are this incompetent can't help wondering how the dr Is. Would not even rate my experience one star

My first experience with Dr. Portwood was in October as an office visit. On November 14, I had total shoulder replacement and all I can say is - - - HE IS AMAZING! My surgery was very successful and I am up and moving nicely with a good range of motion. Physical Therapy started December 3rd and will finish April 5th. Thank you, Dr. Portwood!!!
