Not much eye contact condescending and sarcastic. His back to me nearly the whole time as he was on the computer seemed put out or irritated that I was even there. Not sure what really happened at that visit. Tried to ask a few questions but got a sarcastic answer and condescension. Felt stupid. Told him he didn’t have to be rude. Left the office wondering what this was i there for? What is the next step? No after summery visit. I walked off. Waste of time and he let me know it. Oh he ordered a fu MRI as he stated...’because of your symptoms but symptoms wouldn’t be intermittent’ . So what did he mean by that? Like my symptoms are fake. Not a great bedside manner. Not sure what to do. See another doctor? Or just forget it? My symptoms progressively worsening. And he is the Physician in charge PIC. Not impressed and would’nt recommend. Just a number.Patients have complained to me about him and now I completely understand what they are saying.

Saw Dr Hirata for a spinal fracture And he was excellent. Thorough patient I had a million questions and he made a treatment plan that I’m comfortable with no rushing into surgery or pushing narcotics like other doctors have suggested. He listened to my wants and I feel very safe in his hands you only get one spine so I wanted a great doctor to take care of mine. So glad to have Dr Hirata taking care of me.

He was friendly but very cut and dry. Instead of explaining my mri results fully he told me there was a small issue but nothing I could do over the phone. I got a second opinion and that went much better
