Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

BEWARE!!! Don’t go if you can help it. Her doctor said this was his 3rd choice out of 3 area hospitals. But since we had to call 911 we didn’t have a choice as this was the only one accepting patients.My mother was admitted through the ER and had emergency surgery. The surgery went well but the recuperation is a nightmare.She has been living with asthma & COPD for over 40yrs. They stopped “cold turkey” her breathing meds, her steroids, and lexipro (which anyone amateur knows) has to be tapered off especially after 40yrs. They didn’t replace any of these. And I found her wheezing in her bed when they finally let visitors in on day 5. After me screaming at everyone including the house supervisor they started her on breathing treatments. But it was too little too late and she still struggling for breathe. She’s still audibly wheezing and her neck & rib case are visibly heaving…and they don’t care. Honestly they just don’t care.I had provided written “current medication regiment” including her drug allergies on yellow 9x11 binder paper. Every person I spoke to asked for the rundown because it wasn’t in her “files”……..I thought once she was admitted and out of ER she would be taken care of and treated like a human being but I was so wrong!!!I won’t bore you with anymore but I wish I had let her suffer in pain and driven her in to corona regional so she could get decent care. I’ll never make this mistake again.I won’t post any pictures because it’s very upsetting to look at.

My mom was admitted because she had a broken femur. They left her in the hallway half naked and visibly shivering! When I was finally able to go see her, her copd and asthma were acting up so badly she was audibly wheezing! They haven’t given her any of her daily meds like prednisone, trelegy, lexipro, norvasc! The worst is that they don’t even care! My sister gave them all the medical info they needed a few times because they couldn’t communicate it or put it in her chart!! Seriously this place is horrible! They’re trying to track down a doctor so they can administer breathing meds! She has been complaining that they won’t help give her water to drink and after having had a rod put into her leg they’re giving her Tylenol for her pain! How is she supposed to sleep to get better with that kind of pain?!? She is in such terrible shape I want to cry! At this rate she will never get better!Just spoke to the nurse again! Apparently the pulmonologist comes in only once per day and he’s already been here this morning so they said she has to wait until tomorrow! Their mission statements are ALL LIES!!! If you love someone don’t bring them here! If you hate someone this is a great place to have them be tortured!!

Forgets to process my paperwork for my much needed prescriptions. What a circus.

I'm sitting here waiting for xrays and I honestly can't beleive the way some of the staff treats the patients. Horrible

Went to the ER after work and was seen in 10 minutes and they decided to keep me over night for observation. They did a Echo cardiogram on me, X-ray and discharged me the afternoon the next day. The nurses was nice and the Doctors was cool.

Was admitted on Nov 18,2021 with covid was here for 13 days the nurses where pleasant along with other staff members drs where polite and answered all my question along with the nurses. Anytime my husband called to request a update on me he was contacted with in 15 mins of him calling. When family dropped food off at nursing station it was bought right away to my room.

This is my first pregnancy and just like every other first time mom. Choosing the hospital is very important. Needless to say, Parkview hospital is the best. I say that because I, my self, is a nursing student and from the little knowedlge that I know, the nurses there are very very friendly and helpful. Admission is super fast. Service is on top. Nurses and doctors are super nice. They always check on me to see how I am doing. The room is super clean and the food is really good as well. I am planning on having my second child and certainly Parkview will be my first choice.

I just had my baby boy 1/14/2022 & my experience was very wonderful I had nothing but very helpful nurses from day one till the day I left I want to say thank you for the labor & delivery department being a first time mom was a bit nervous but Nancy, Jena, & Charlene made my experience smooth & peaceful thank you 😊 ❤️

I TRULY HATE THIS HOSPITAL.INCOMPATANT, EXTREAMLY UNPROFFESIONAL, AND THE STAFF UNDERTRAINED.
