For whatever reason I was treated like a mere paycheck. All my time dealing with medical staff members due to my health issues I have never dealt with such little care for somebody’s health. I went in and she didn’t even check anything. Nothing. Despite me being young she knew I have health issues an autoimmune and blood disorder that can be fatal, all she did was check my ears and that was enough for her to decide everything was fine. While I was there I was told that my blood pressure was high and that she would check it again before she left by one of the other nurses which also never happened, I was rushed out. But that was after she felt the need to talk to me about how she thinks I should be more independent simply because I brought my mom along. Like what? It was not even her place and she had just met me telling me it’s good to be independent and live on your own meanwhile I had just turned 18 not even a month ago. And that’s not all. Later on in a few weeks I had gotten extremely swollen and irritated eyes and the entire staff was negligent for over a month it was a complete mess just simply trying to get them to fax my insurance, leading me to have to go to urgent care to simply get a prescription after having swollen eyes over a month. I instantly got the prescription same day from urgent care while with them they finally got it sent through after over a month and by the time I was already healed from urgent care. Soon after I received a letter saying I could no longer get service there. As if I would even want to continue anyways. It was a complete nightmare and I had never been more miserable and even then they showed no compassion and dr K was always Conveniently out of the office anytime I called. I don’t know why I was treated so poorly but I’ve literally never experienced something like this. And I’ve been in and out of hospital many many times. I had to call almost everyday to make sure they did the simplest things meanwhile I couldn’t even leave my house for over a month and I missed out on a trip I spent hundreds on.

Great experience, everyone spent the time to make me feel comfortable and Dr Kunaseelan spent a good amount of time with me as a new patient. Should have done it sooner!

I have not done blood work to check my psa since I was 40 so now that I'm almost 51 I decided to get my blood checked of which I had to have a physical. I hate going to the doctor and am a very difficult person to deal with because I trust no one when it comes down to my body. With that being said today was no different. They checked my weight and I insisted they take 5 pounds off for my boots. Then I go into the room and they checked my blood pressure it was totally high like 160 over 110 .so the doctor comes in and of course before I take my clothes off I have a bunch of questions like do you have to put your finger up there and can't you just check my PSA thru my blood work and can I just pull my pants down so I don't have to get all the way undressed..well mind you my wife told me before I left that I better be nice as my son and her have been going there for years so she won't have to change doctors like I've made her change Dentist but honestly they were totally rude to me at the dentist. Well with all that said I called the wife to make sure I wasn't going to have to explain why i let a women do the physical and she acted like it was fine and the doctor was more than professional by explaining why what where and how this was going to happen so I put the robe on and they came in and before you know it we were done. I went down to blood work and am hopefully good untill next year we will see when the blood work comes back. Don't be hard headed like me and wait 10 years like I did early detection can save your life.
