Ray Glendrange's Online Review Report Card

I was in office for a cataract exam and was told he wouldn’t be doing the surgery that he’s booked to March. I had no problem waiting until then as he did my one eye a couple of years ago. I did have major issues with that eye afterwards but that was because of my eye. The surgery he did was good. Even with me saying I would wait didn’t change anything. So, for me it was a waste of time and left. It would have been nice to have been told this at time I made appointment weeks ago. It was disappointing as he didn’t appear to want to do the surgery and was doing his best to discourage me. This was through another doctor that was doing my exam - never saw him personally.

Dr Glendrange has a gentle and approachable bedside manner that puts you at ease and eliminates anxiety. I’ve been treated excellently at each of my visits by him and his nurse and I feel that he is thorough in his examinations yet does not prescribe unnecessary treatments.

I have been a patient of Dr Glendrange for several years and he is awesome. He is always friendly, explains what is going on and answers any questions I had. My ONLY issue is when my pharmacy called to refill a prescription, his staff let it fall thru the cracks. I called the office as the pharmacist was told " I had not been seen in the office in a LONG time". When she checked, I had been there June 10th. She said she would forward that to the clerk and get my drops refilled. Well, here it is the weekend, no drops, no refill and office closed. I am sure the Doctor when I go see him Monday will not be a happy person.

So to start I visited for my cataract surgery, and my experience was one of the best ever. Doctor was very helpful, he explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions with good reasonings. My vision is back to 20/20 and if I could I would give 6 stars. The front desk staff was also very helpful through each of my visits. Overall I would highly recommend Dr, Glendrage.

Dr. glendrange told me that I was going to be blind in my left eye for the rest of my life due to an issue with cataract surgery. After a second diagnosis I was corrected and have total vision restored. I would definitely get a second opinion before you accept any opinion from Dr. glendrange regarding total loss of vision.

Would not Recommend. He and his office help are cold and arrogant. His exam is hurried, almost frenzied and does not generate confidence in his diagnosis or recommended treatment.

Dr Glendrange performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes within the past month. He was very thorough in answering all my questions, and his office staff, especially Christine, were just super. The surgery was performed in a timely manner, and now I can see perfectly with no glasses. Dr Glendrange has changed my life, since I've worn glasses for almost 60 years!

With perfect knowledge of eye diseases, treatment capabilities and having well trained staff, Dr Glendrange is one of the best eye surgeon in our Riverside County. He performed eye surgery ( Cataract) for my wife very well and to our entire satisfaction. I appreciate his dedication towards the patients and the profession. Well done DR Glendrange Sir.

My father's practice in ophthalmology was of sixty years duration. His own five year residency in ophthalmology had been at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, an extremely well regarded institution. This review reads, I realize, like merely a loving daughter's recollection of her late father but there is a purpose to this prologue: my father was sparing of praise but he could not praise Ray Glendrange enough. After his retirement my father, my mother and I sought out the services of many different ophthalmologists in Los Angeles and Orange Counties but the search ended when we discovered Dr. Glendrange here in Riverside CA. He is the ideal ophthalmologist, i.e. a superb academician and clinician coupled with a winning, personable personality. When you are under his care you feel like nothing matters to him except your complete satisfaction. In closing, Dr. Glendrange operated on my late mother and restored her vision. My father, as noted, would not let any other ophthalmologist treat him. . In my own case I have a family history of macular degeneration. which Dr. Glendrange is closely monitoring. You simply cannot go wrong if Dr. Glendrange is your family's ophthalmologist.
