Riverside Physician Network's Online Review Report Card

These ppl are horrible and as soon as I can I will be changing my Insurance. They think everyone should know what your suppose to do to get an authorization. I wouldn't enroll in this group again if I had too !

The worst experience I have ever had with any provider. They don't earn a SINGLE star. Hold time over an hour. Then incompetent help. I'm changing doctors just to get a different group.

RPN is an IPA - which means the doctors available to RPN patients have outside practices. This means that a Primary Physician with RPN is a part-time physician and available when they feel they want to take time from their outside patients. Patients with RPN are secondary to the doctor's 'outside' patients and I have felt that doctor's are more focused on the 'other' business. They have no qualms in 'rescheduling'  appointments.This fact, plus the reduction of 2 physicians at the 4646 Brockton building, has turned the RPN into a very difficult, unreliable medical provider. Most of my requests for appointments with a doctor has resulted in;1. Soonest available time is 'next' month and you can see an 'assistant' in 10 days, or2. Just go down to Express Care at 5:00 pm.The entire RPN experience has deteriorated the last 2 years and is a broken-down entity. Two quality doctors have left in the last year and the 2 offices are still empty. A recent inquiry at the front desk of one of the 'physicians' as to the long time frame to get an appointment resulted in an answer that 'this is due to 'Obamacare'. Sorry - this delays are due to part-time doctors.

I have been dealing with them for years. They are exceptional with their services. Thanks for all your help.

Dr. Curtis and staff have been caring for my family for nearly 2 decades. Unlike most, Dr. Curtis takes his time with patients, listening to any and all concerns, then formulating a plan. His entire staff is kind, caring and courteous. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for quality healthcare.

This network is a covert insurance company. I have a great HMO and can get just about any service I need. Then the riverside physicians network get involved... we have to battle them for everything when the HMO is ok with it. For example: I broke my leg 10 weeks ago. A week ago I was supposed to get a support boot and get my cast off. My doctor said that the boot wasn't approved yet. So naturally I called my hmo. They said they had no problem approving it and they approved it a week before my appointment. They submitted it to RPN once they got it. So I called RPN and they said they also needed to approve it. The doctor said I had to get a cast back on in the meantime. I had to fight with RPN to get it approved. NOW a week later I have the boot through another doctor but they can't cut the cast off. I called my doctor and they said that is have to wait until my next appointment. Now the big question... WHY DO I HAVE TO BATTLE WITH A PHYSICIAN NETWORK WHEN I ALREADY HAVE AN HMO?! This is ridiculous!!! This whole thing could've been avoided if it wasn't for RIVERSIDE PHYSICIANS NETWORK!
