I am very satisfied with my experience at Dr. Ronald Shiell, MD. I see him at the West Dermatology Palm Springs office. The two major components to make or break a visit to any doctor's office are the front office staff's ability to deliver exceptional customer service and the doctor's bedside manner and knowledge. The front office staff is very helpful, friendly, and they go above the call-of-duty to ensure you are welcome in their office. Dr. Shiell has an extraordinary bedside manner and he is very knowledgeable in his field. His medical assistants are also extremely qualified and ready to answer questions. Bonus for not having to wait for 2 hours in the reception area! I was seen by Dr. Shiell within 15 minutes from the time I arrived. As a new desert dweller, I am lucky to have found Dr. Shiell for all my dermatological needs.

On a follow-up for Nitrogen burns of biopsied precancerous growths, Dr. Shiell addressed 3 new problems which included 2 new biopsies. I appreciate his professionalism, and continue to highly recommend him.

I have been seeking Dr. Shiell for several years. He has kept my psoriasis and pre-cancerous growths at bay. My Dr. (Dr.Shiell) has given me my life back. He is the only Dr. (out of many Dermatologist I seen before I found him/ west dermatology) who sincerely: cared about my quality of life; listened to me thoroughly & patiently; took my concerns & needs seriously; treated me with respect & dignity and informed me and discussed all treatment options for my Vitilogo and then let me decide which treatment option was best for ME and my quality of life. Dr. Shiell changed my life & I can live my life again
